We are a conscious textiles micro-manufacturer focusing on social and environmental production. Our unique approach lets us focus on what we care about most: taking the time to develop the best product possible, crafted in-house, Made in Scotland.
Assemble Apparel works as building blocks for textiles printers, weavers and retailers. We have created the collection with simplicity, craftsmanship, and sustainability in mind, balancing minimal classic design with contemporary, fresh aesthetics. This allows each fabric to put its stamp on the garment, creating something new and exciting.
The Assemble apparel collection contains 13 (we're not superstitious) classic base items that can be ordered in (almost) any fabric. This collection offers additional options such as variable sleeve and hem length, sizes etc.
Design The Collection has been thoughtfully designed with simplicity, functionality and longevity in mind. Each piece is a loose but flattering fit, suitable for a range of body shapes and heights.
Functionally Pockets are something we feel very passionately about. As anyone that has bought women's clothes will know pockets are a critical issue and are often inadequate (if they are there at all). Most items in the collection have them! These are not just features which barely have enough room for spare change, but fully functional pockets capable of holding phones and keys.
Longevity We hope that through the Assemble apparel collection you can create timeless classic products that won't only last for a long time but will also be desirable for a long time. Designed by our Creative Director, Swedish born Nina Falk, these beautiful, minimal pieces have been developed and honed through her almost 15 year career as a fashion and textiles designer.
ASSEMBLE Our first Assemble collection was launched in 2016 with the "Assemble Accessories" range covering all the must have and most in demand items. Allowing print designers and weavers to showcase their fabrics. Garments can be ordered in batches of 1-500 units per item.
The Assemble process is simple: Check out the collection on our website and pick the product(s). We will send you prices and fabric requirements and once the order is a agreed, just send us your fabric. When we receive your fabric, we can get started making your garments! When everything has been made, we will deliver them to you, ready for market. DONE!

Risks and challenges
Risks and challenges: The biggest challenges are the awareness and the true cost of ethical and sustainable products.
We have become so used to buying products that undercut the true of labour and materials that sometimes it can be a challenge to reshape our thinking to that of conscious production in the UK. In order to ‘sustain’ ourselves as well as to support our clients, we hope that you will support us to develop an ethical future for Made in Scotland production.
Your backing helps us create an effortless slow fashion product range and begin to change the fashion industry.
