Hello agian my fellow TCG gamers!
I'm Sam from Kakapopo TCG. We design and create limited edition TCG storage cases and deck boxes that is designed by the TCG gamer, for the TCG gamer!
Firstly, thank you for supporting my previous TCG deck box and storage case projects! Also sincere apologies for the minor hiccups regarding the finishing touches for a small fraction of the metal deck boxes. Since they were the first mass production batch, then chuck in the Christmas deadline rush, not all of the of end products were as perfect as I would of liked them to be.
Using the experience learnt from my previous projects and past mistakes, I have been working on a new project to create a range of antique style wooden deck boxes. The deck boxes are designed to look like it has witnessed countless card duels over the centuries, thus showing signs of ageing, but a defiant survivor .
One of the goals that I had when designing and creating the new range of antique style wooden deck boxes, is to use as little glue as possible in them to eliminate any possibility of the flow of excess gluing that will "uglify" the interior of the deck box.
The prototypes have now finally been created over the Christmas and New Year break (please see photos below for the 3 prototypes), and I will need your support again to kick off the production for my latest Deck Box experiment.
Production Quantities again will be limited, and I will personally quality check each Deck Box before it goes out. (Estimated shipping start date will be between end Feb or early March 2014.)
The following are the detailed photos and dimensions of the three different PROTOTYPE Deck Boxes:
The deck boxes are designed for TCG decks, and is perfect for Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Yugioh, Vanguard, Wow, Match Attax or any table top card games.
Each deck box can fit a maximum of 100 double sleeved cards (bit it's a bit of a tight fit tough :P).
External dimensions are:
S01 - 102mm x 80mm x 80mm
S02 - 105mm x 78mm x 75mm
S03 - 105mm x 78mm x 75mm
Below are requested photos of the back of the deck boxes:

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk and challenge for this project will be ensuring quality of each deck box that goes out.
Thus I will be giving myself plenty of time to quality checking every single deck box that goes out to you, each reward will be sent out one by one as I check them, meaning some might get their reward early while some others will be getting it one or two weeks later.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
