      Good project! Even cheaper balloons are available though. A $10 solar balloon kit (12-foot wide tetroon shaped) is available from http://www.solar-balloons.com/store.html On sunny days without much wind, it will lift a digital camera as high as your fishing line tether. And it doesn't need helium, only sunshine. The smaller $7 ready-to-fly 6-foot tetroons easily lift the Ebay $10 0.7 ounce key-fob videocams. But bigger cameras are better for sharper imagery.
