"The strife of Camelot, in which Arthur and Mordred fell..."
Guile is a 20 minute, medieval memory card game of deception and intrigue for 2 players. You are either the noble King Arthur or the nefarious Sir Mordred, and the Knights of the Round Table will be the instruments of your influence in Camelot. To win, you must trace the web of subterfuge and manipulate it to your own ends to wield the most influence when each Knight’s loyalties are revealed.
The Round Table is formed by eight face-up Knights, with each player controlling four. Each Knight also bears a face-down Influence card on top of it. On their turn, a player can look at the Influence card of their knight-errant OR exchange that card with an Influence card of any other Knight at the Round Table. Play continues in this manner until the turns have circled the Round Table twice.
At that time, all of the face-down Influence cards are turned over and the player who has the higher total of Influence wins the round. A new round is set up and played again, and the first person to win two rounds wins the game.
Who will hold sway in Camelot? And who will hold sway on the morrow? Only time will tell...
We need some great art to make this game come to life. The game displayed in the main video and rules video is our prototype version of the game. We are working with an incredible artist, Brett Owens, to create the artwork for Guile. Here are some examples of the final art for the Knights:
Kickstarter Backers Come First: Backer copies of Guile will be shipped out before Guile is available at retailers or conventions. We will keep all backers informed at every step of the process - development, printing, and delivery.
Because We Need You: We've covered the cost of development for Guile, but we can't manufacture and print the game without your support. The funds we receive will go directly to the manufacturer, the printer, and our artists. Our funding goal covers the cost of Guile to be released in a tuck box, but with your help, we'll be able to exceed our goal and provide upgraded components and packaging, as well as some exciting, EXCLUSIVE game variants.
Kickstarter-Exclusive Items: If you back at the DELUXE GUILE tier or above, you'll receive the Guinevere Influence card variant - the perfect way to inject a little more chaos into King Arthur's court. DELUXE backers and above will also receive all stretch goals met. This includes three more Influence variants - Morgana, Isolde, and Merlin!
Guinevere introduces even more strategic possibilities to Guile, and we're excited for Morgana, Isolde, and Merlin to make it into the box too. All of these items will be exclusive to our Kickstarter backers and will not be included in the final retail version of the game. Check out the rewards and stretch goals below for more details.

Risks and challenges
This is our first Kickstarter campaign and we are pushing to not only successfully fund the project, but make a superior game and get the rewards to our backers on time. Please understand that unexpected delays by factors out of our control can always occur.
We already have a manufacturer lined up, but component shortage, printer error, weather conditions, and customs delays and only a few of the reasons delivery could be delayed. We will do everything in our power to ensure that the games get delivered on time and promise to keep you informed at every step in the development, printing, and delivery processes.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
