Get Your New Map Samples Here!
Good evening everyone! As we gear up for the weekend, I thought I’d post a quick recap of the progress the project made since the last update. We have picked up over 70 new backers and increased funding for the project to more than 770%. I appreciate your continued support!
The daily summaries from Kickstarter also noted that many of you have been increasing your pledges by $14 to pick up both of the add-ons ($7 each). That’s a huge help towards unlocking additional stretch goals. The add-ons are great deals, so check them out on the bottom of the main project page if you haven't yet.
We also added another bonus map to the tally, and unlocked three new map icon sets via stretch goals. Next up on that list is the “Magic Portals & Wyrds” icon set. This brings the project current totals to over 130 maps and over 140 map icons!
Dark Crypt & Bandit’s Abode –
New Sample Maps! The awesome folks over at Dungeon Crate have offered the help promote this project! Dungeon Crate is a monthly tabletop RPG-specific subscription box service. Every month they send out a box of amazing roleplaying game accessories to their subscribers, and that includes bonus digital content for each crate.
To help get the word out about The Big Book of Maps (for Tabletop Roleplaying Games), they have offered to include a promo via their “digital crate” in the March Dungeon Crate distribution.
For this purpose I have created two new bonus sample maps for this project which have been compiled into a promotional digital map pack PDF titled, “Dark Crypt & Bandit’s Abode”
The PDF contains two new maps which will be included in the Big Book of Maps (for Tabletop Roleplaying Games). These new maps are additional examples of what backers can expect from the other maps in this collection.
In Conclusion –
As we near the end of day four of this kickstarter, I am in the process of preparing more fun stuff to release to you all in the coming week.
There has been some great conversation going on over in the project comments section as well – please feel free to drop in and say hello, ask any questions you might have, or share ideas for this project. Several stretch goals and updates to the project have come directly from backer suggestions.
Thank you once again for the amazing support! You all are awesome.
