Thanks everyone for making all of this happen!
Got them the other day and they are amazing. Really well made. Thanks :D
Thanks everyone for the kind words and support!!
Got my plushies this weekend! I love them so much! (: I can't wait for more of your work. (My friend suggested a uracil!)
Hi, My biochemies arrived Saturday but I was out :-( Just picked them up, they are just as good as I was hoping they would be - great stuff! Thanks.
Just got DNA dolls in Japan. I'll use this to education of biochemistry for my students, thanks!
Just got mine yesterday and perfect timing, my sons birthday is today and when I had backed the project I thought what a fun birthday present! The detail on the stitching is better than I had thought.
Received my biochemies earlier this week, brought them to work, and found out my coworker is a backer too. They're great, thanks!
Just got mine in Australia! Very cool!
Just got my biochemies today. They look awesome. Several teachers at my daughter's school did double takes and ask "Did you say DNA?"
Really looking forward to getting mine - hopefully they arrive in time for my fiance's birthday!!
Just got the plushies today, and I just have to agree with the other people: They're awesome! Gonna pass them around my class as well. :)
PS. Next project, the amino acids? ;)
the plushies are amazing - i got them in the mail today and LOVE them!! am so thrilled to have been granted the opportunity to be a part of this and wish you much continued success :)
Just arrived in the mail today! Here's what my kids have to say:
We love da plushies.
I just got mine in today! I can't wait for my niece to be old enough that I can give her one of the sets. Thanks!
They arrived today! Super cute and super awesome! They will be passed around class tomorrow.
I got my plushies today. They're adorable!
Wow... funding goal reached January 7... Biochemies already hitting the mail... so exciting... Yay for 2012, what a great year!! :)
So - do we have to respond to a survey for shipping addresses - or is this already sorted out? It's not clear from your email :)
Any Idea when the plushies will be sent out?
Hi Jun, any update on when we might see our DNA plushes?
Why would someone want to produce this product in the USA? It seems like the perfect product to have assembled and shipped from overseas. The USA is known for its ability to manufacture new and innovative ideas, not providing labor for manufacturing of a plush doll at a cost effective bracket.
REally excited about the product! Just having trouble trying to pay for it - keep getting emails to put in a new credit card number as the transaction declined. I lost + cancelled mine last week, am just waiting for a new one to arrive in the mail and then I'll sort it out :)
ConGrATulATions! (see what I did there?)
We just love your project and we're so happy for your success :-)
Uracil, Uracil, Uracil!
Is there any info about production? I'd love to see another Kickstarter product made in the USA!
This is a wonderful, wonderful project. I'd also pay extra for adding on Uracil!
These are adorable! Can't wait to get my set...I eagerly await the addition of uracil!
Jun, this is wonderful.
Very cute dolls! So proud of my big cousin :D hope it works out for you!
Brilliant, and adorable...!
Question that crops up in my mind, though -- do you plan to release an expansion set with backbone molecules, so that one can build a double helix...?
Such a clever idea - is it wrong that I'm 30 and bought these for myself...
Good luck in production!
Fantastic! I'm really into science education and this will help me teach the childrens about chemical bonding (always kind of a difficult/boring/abstract concept to teach to them)
I'm a Chem major and they are absolutely ADORABLE!!!
Hey Jun! I saw you pitch a couple weeks ago at San Diego StartUp Tech Launch. Congratulations on taking this from concept to reality! Looks like you are going to be able to manufacture these cute toys. I can't wait to get a set for my son :) Good luck, can't wait to hear the updates!
This is an absolutely fantastic project. I am always looking for new ways for people to interact with information and this is such an approachable and fun way. I love it!
This is fantastic...spreading the word!!! Good luck to you :)
Love this idea! Can't wait to give these to my scientifically burgeoning nephew!!! Talk about baby-einstein....
Hey! We met at that one SandCHI meeting (haven't seen you there since.) Your last name is Axup? How are you related to Jeff?
I remember one of your conversation tags was "science plush dolls", and here they are! ^^ I'm in for one set, and if you need any "beta testing," I'm here to help ;)
Congrats for making it to the top of Kickstarter's "Projects We Love" list! That's how I found out about this. Good luck with this project!
ADORABLE!! I'm a sub teaching 8th grade science long-term and I soooo wish I had had them for my current science class! If I'm able to donate more, I will! =)
This is such an awesome idea. As it so happens, a few weeks ago I started taking Molecular Diagnostics as part of my Med Lab training and I'll be sure to use my plush DNAs as study aids :-)
Sweet! Great idea!
This is so exciting Jun! Love your project and love kickstarter! So glad you put this up. Looks like you're off to a great start at reaching your goal.
Forgive me... but I can't help getting visions of Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman & Jude Law! :)
