Hi, My biochemies arrived Saturday but I was out :-( Just picked them up, they are just as good as I was hoping they would be - great stuff! Thanks.

Just got DNA dolls in Japan. I'll use this to education of biochemistry for my students, thanks!

    7. Chuck Pearce on April 28, 2012

Just got mine yesterday and perfect timing, my sons birthday is today and when I had backed the project I thought what a fun birthday present! The detail on the stitching is better than I had thought.

    8. Christopher Hull on April 27, 2012

Received my biochemies earlier this week, brought them to work, and found out my coworker is a backer too. They're great, thanks!

    10. Peter Maylott on April 26, 2012

Just got my biochemies today. They look awesome. Several teachers at my daughter's school did double takes and ask "Did you say DNA?"

    11. Trudy Munn on April 26, 2012

Really looking forward to getting mine - hopefully they arrive in time for my fiance's birthday!!

So - do we have to respond to a survey for shipping addresses - or is this already sorted out? It's not clear from your email :)

Any Idea when the plushies will be sent out?

    21. Gavin Maxwell on March 6, 2012

Hi Jun, any update on when we might see our DNA plushes?

    22. Chuck Pearce on February 2, 2012

Why would someone want to produce this product in the USA? It seems like the perfect product to have assembled and shipped from overseas. The USA is known for its ability to manufacture new and innovative ideas, not providing labor for manufacturing of a plush doll at a cost effective bracket.

    23. Trudy Munn on January 10, 2012

REally excited about the product! Just having trouble trying to pay for it - keep getting emails to put in a new credit card number as the transaction declined. I lost + cancelled mine last week, am just waiting for a new one to arrive in the mail and then I'll sort it out :)

    24. Maricriz Perea & Jazz Tigan on January 6, 2012

ConGrATulATions! (see what I did there?)

We just love your project and we're so happy for your success :-)

    25. Krystal Haedo on January 5, 2012

      Uracil, Uracil, Uracil!

    26. Krystal Haedo on January 5, 2012

Is there any info about production? I'd love to see another Kickstarter product made in the USA!

    27. Phong Nguyen on December 19, 2011

This is a wonderful, wonderful project. I'd also pay extra for adding on Uracil!

    28. Jessica Newman on December 1, 2011

These are adorable! Can't wait to get my set...I eagerly await the addition of uracil!

    29. Connor Fowler on November 29, 2011

      Jun, this is wonderful.

    30. Allen Zeng on November 27, 2011

Very cute dolls! So proud of my big cousin :D hope it works out for you!

      Brilliant, and adorable...!
Question that crops up in my mind, though -- do you plan to release an expansion set with backbone molecules, so that one can build a double helix...?

    32. Natalie Nash on November 23, 2011

Such a clever idea - is it wrong that I'm 30 and bought these for myself...

      Good luck in production!

    33. Christine Layton on November 19, 2011

Fantastic! I'm really into science education and this will help me teach the childrens about chemical bonding (always kind of a difficult/boring/abstract concept to teach to them)

    34. Leng Yang on November 19, 2011

I'm a Chem major and they are absolutely ADORABLE!!!

    35. Eileen Zimmerman on November 18, 2011

Hey Jun! I saw you pitch a couple weeks ago at San Diego StartUp Tech Launch. Congratulations on taking this from concept to reality! Looks like you are going to be able to manufacture these cute toys. I can't wait to get a set for my son :) Good luck, can't wait to hear the updates!

This is an absolutely fantastic project. I am always looking for new ways for people to interact with information and this is such an approachable and fun way. I love it!

    37. beth Sorrentino on November 18, 2011

This is fantastic...spreading the word!!! Good luck to you :)

    38. Moosestash Films on November 18, 2011

Hey! We met at that one SandCHI meeting (haven't seen you there since.) Your last name is Axup? How are you related to Jeff?
I remember one of your conversation tags was "science plush dolls", and here they are! ^^ I'm in for one set, and if you need any "beta testing," I'm here to help ;)

Congrats for making it to the top of Kickstarter's "Projects We Love" list! That's how I found out about this. Good luck with this project!

    40. Cynda on November 18, 2011

ADORABLE!! I'm a sub teaching 8th grade science long-term and I soooo wish I had had them for my current science class! If I'm able to donate more, I will! =)

    41. David Ducharme on November 18, 2011

This is such an awesome idea. As it so happens, a few weeks ago I started taking Molecular Diagnostics as part of my Med Lab training and I'll be sure to use my plush DNAs as study aids :-)

    42. Jeff Sanders on November 15, 2011

      Sweet! Great idea!

    43. Vanessa Blaylock on November 8, 2011

This is so exciting Jun! Love your project and love kickstarter! So glad you put this up. Looks like you're off to a great start at reaching your goal.

Forgive me... but I can't help getting visions of Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman & Jude Law! :)
