Hello to everyone! To my new readers and to the old ones!
This is a brand new little project to give you "the key" to enter in to Elsie's world: it's her first tiny comic book! In this first story, I will introduce you to the population of Nutfield, the town where Elsie lives. I took the name from a real town not too far from where I live, in Kent (England) but then I filled it with all sort of fun things to see and do: mountains, a forest, a lake, a theater, a swimming pool (with a tiny jacuzzi), a mouse-size shopping center full of delicious locally sourced foods, a river where you can go rowing in your boat and, last but not least, a beautiful medieval castle to visit.
I would move there straight away, and you?
After my first successful Kickstarter project, I decided to continue producing little books and tiny objects related to my character, Elsie.
For those who still don't know her, let me introduce the sweetest mouse in town. She is an amazing baker, a great cook, but above all she likes to make people happy by creating fun adventures and by helping everyone to find the best way to realize their dreams.
Out there is an entire world to play and make friends in and it seems like in Nutfield, it is always the right time to organize a fair, celebrate a birthday or go for a hike in the mountains or a stroll in the woods.
Elsie's husband is the kind of mouse that would be able to fix and build everything with his own hands. He is super fan of DIY and loves to go fishing near by the river, together with Binky, Minky and Stinky, three little troublemakers. They are a bit unruly, but always ready to bring smiles on people's faces. And they love to discover new things: they go fossil hunting, they plant trees, and they go in every single room of the castle looking for ghosts, or secrets.
So this first comic book will be about them and about the other citizens of this splendid town. I hope you will have fun reading my little story.
Also, because I think they are very fun and cool, I decided to create some pins and some patches, to express your love for Elsie. I hope you will like them as much as I do. The patches are 60 mm across, made of woven cloth with gold thread. The pins are hard enamel, 25 mm across with gold finish. I love them so much!
And, of course, to complete the collection, you will also find some amazing stickers! One set includes all sorts of different teacups and mugs.
The other set has many different kinds of teapots (my favorite one is the pumpkin shaped one :-D).
All of these teacups and teapots are from the illustrations of Elsie's illustrated recipe book: "Elsie's guide to Afternoon Tea"!
I hope you will like these things as much as I do. Thanks for your support and please feel free to share with your contacts.
