- MUSIC -
One of the harder changes I've made this past year was letting go of certain people, but that doesn't mean those people disappear. I still have to see them sometimes and that isss ... something I wrote a song about
One of the biggest problems in my last relationship was that he always interrupted me which was kind of a metaphor for the whole thing. I wrote a song about it.
One of the sneakiest feelings is numbness. I never realize I'm standing on the outside until something shakes me out of it. Feels like gasping awake after a dream fall. I wrote a song about it.
I've got songs about seeing people I don't want to see, NYC, sex, and realizing I've fallen out of love
There are songs that will be hard to sing live, can't wait to see how I fare in the recording booth

- GOALS -
Since you guys CRUSHED THE GOAL (thank you omg omg omg thank you) I'll definitely spend more time in the studio, relax about budget, make happy mistakes
If we decimate the goal in this last week, anything is possible. I love making music videos, collaborating with my most talented friends, and finding cool weird ways to get my music to as many humans as possible
Risks and challenges
Printing - I wasn't happy with the packaging of my last record. I want this record to be beautiful, sturdy, and eco-friendly
Keeping on schedule - I've always been afraid of a hard deadline but over the course of the last year I've realized that it helps me plan/organize. Planning things out makes them go more smoothy it turns out, who knew that? everyone? k
Fulfillment - The hard deadline will help me make arrangements way in advance. My plan is to execute a week long packaging party, sign everything all at once and ship it to arrive the day of the release (Jan. 3rd or earlier)
Promotion - I'm always looking for a passionate PR company but additionally, I'll be reaching out to friends, collaborating, and putting my music in the hands of as many people as I can to promote this record.
Every time I release a record, I learn a lot about being an independent artist; how to organize, how to ask for what you want, how to prioritize and allocate money. I also meet new inspiring people and add more talented, reliable people to my team. They are not kidding when they say it's all about who you know and I know some creative geniusesLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
