I’m as sick of you drawing lines and getting back on wagons as you probably are.

It’s time to stop imagining metaphorical lines and symbolic wagons and time to start taking real-world actions that are actually going to lead to the changes you want to see and feel in yourself.

...As you can probably tell, this book is not for everyone! The advice will be straight-talking and often not what people want to hear. But if you're ready for a wake-up call and you want to be someone who consistently follows through on doing what it takes to get your body into awesome shape, it might be for you.

I want to write The Hot Body Manisfesto (working title) because there are some things I think you need someone to say to you. Most of them I think, deep down, you’ll already know, but you need someone to help wake you up to them sometimes.

You might not always find the book comfortable reading, but if I don’t say this stuff, chances are, no one else will.

Recently someone on Twitter said they really liked my “you’re an adult, get on with it” approach to helping people shed fat and get into shape. That's something I'll definitely be bringing to this book.

I’ve been bombarded with requests for a “diet plan” people can follow alongside the 12-week exercise programme outlined in The Fat Burn Revolution. But I want to give you something much more powerful than that.

The Hot Body Manifesto book will contain the tools you need to be finally free of plans that try to impose someone else’s food choices on you.

I want to show you how to make real changes, not just give you a temporary crutch.

The Hot Body Manifesto will be laid out in a buffet-style format. Let's face it, who doesn’t like a good buffet? There'll be lots of short chapters, each dealing with a separate issue.

You can tackle it the way you probably do a wedding buffet. First time through, start at one end and work your way through to the other. Then, when you're ready to come back for seconds anytime, head straight to the dish that you want another bite of. (Don't pretend this metaphor isn't resonating with you!)

The Hot Body Manifesto will be there for you to pick up whenever you need to to re-motivate and re-arm yourself to tackle the challenging times and sticky situations you’ll inevitably encounter on your journey to learning to be someone who does what it takes to get the body and live the healthy lifestyle you want and deserve.

My main goal is to achieve backing of £10,000 during this 30-day Kickstarter campaign which will fund The Hot Body Manifesto ebook.

My stretch goal is to achieve £20,000 - if this happens I will be able to publish The Hot Body Manifesto as a print book too!

Note: If you're new to the idea of crowd-funding, I'd just like explain a little further, because I get the impression there has been some misunderstanding. I'm not asking for donations or some kind of charity here - I'm offering the chance to buy the book at reduced cost and the opportunity to get involved in the project from the conception stage.

So this is me saying "I have this idea for a book, but I need to know if it's worth me putting the time and effort into writing it". I'm not trying to make out I'm a struggling author desperate to make ends meet! I have a successful online fitness business, a best-selling book to promote, and various other projects and I'm at the limit of what I have time to do. So I'd like to know if there's going to be a market for this book before I invest my time in it.

As I've explained on the Kickstarter page, another reason I'm taking this approach is to create a community around the book and make readers part of the book from the very start.

You'll only pay if/when I meet my funding target, that's why it's referred to as a pledge (not because it's a charitable donation!) you will then receive the Reward option you've chosen from the options on the right hand side of this page, within the timings specified. But before then I'll be in touch with other bonus goodies, I'll regularly keep you informed on the progress of the project and will probably be picking your brains and asking your opinion through the process.

Yes I'll massively appreciate the support, it will absolutely mean loads to me that you trusted me enough to buy the book at this early stage and, of course, you will be helping to make the concept a reality, but I want you to support because you think the book will be a valuable resource, because you want to be part of the project and/or you simply want to get your copy at the best price. Risks and challenges

Risks and challenges? Well, it's pretty scary putting myself out there with this. It might work or it might not. But if I get the funding that'll be amazing, if I don't then I guess I'll know the world doesn't want this book and that I should come up with something else to help people make the healthy changes they want. So there'll be a very useful outcome either way really. Hopefully you like sound of it and will want to help me get The Hot Body Manifesto to the people!
