It has truly been an inspiring journey since we launched the project. We have received so many pieces of great advice from our backers and a lot of them mentioned USB-C. You asked, we made it! Now USB-C is "officially" incorporated into the family of AnyLink, and we call it AnyLink ULTIMATE:)

OTG cable has risen to the surface in recent years. It is a incredible product, however becomes useless whenever you don't have a second phone/tablet around. More commonly, we need a standard charing cable to connect our devices to computer or wall charger. So we thought, why not combine the two cables into one multi-functional cable! In this way, people will no long be worried about battery issues since they can always find a power source nearby. That is how the idea of AnyLink came into being.
Our mission is to help people lead a real simple and convenient life, being free of nuisances. We believe in the power of great products and aim to achieve the goal by creating them.
We have spent hundred of days trying to figure out how to incorporate MicroUSB into standard USB-A connector. It's challenging since it requires very precise engineering in such a small space with a telescopic joint. With tons of failure and efforts, we've finally made the perfect embedded USB connector that can be transformed into MicroUSB.
Our final prototypes have been well tested and work super great! Our manufacturer is ready to go. We need your support to help this product bring more convenience to people's life. Every dollar pledged will go towards manufacturing, quality assurance, packaging and shipping.

The technical issues have already been solved and our prototypes are working great. AnyLink with 1m long cable has already passed MFI certificate. For portable convenience, we also developed AnyLink with 15cm short cable but yet to pass MFI. Therefore the short version is not listed as a choice in the campaign. We are still working hard to make it pass MFI and be available for backers.
We are collaborating with one of the most prestigious cable manufacturers in China. The quality of AnyLink will be super high-end. We have thought about providing more color choices to backers, but for now we'd rather keep it two colors to ensure Feb delivery.
Although OTG technology is widely adopted, there are still several old models that don't support it. Please make sure your phone or tablet support OTG technology (Google your phone model with "OTG") before you back this project. But it only matters the USB-A+MicroUSB end (power source side), for the Lightning+MicroUSB end (power output side), it is compatible with any phone/tablet with standard Lightning or MicroUSB.
