Over the past 10 years, I have been creating photographs that explore the complex nature of fear. During this time, I have been privileged enough to see my work featured in numerous publications and galleries around the world.
99% of what you see in my photographs is captured in-camera. Me and my team of volunteers spend weeks constructing sets and perfecting make-up effects to make sure that virtually no post production work (i.e. Photoshop) is required.
From May 25th to June 29th, 2013, Travis Louie will be curating a show at the Last Rites gallery in New York City entitled, "ZOMBIE." He has been gracious enough to invite me to be part of this show, so I am raising funds to help with the costs associated with my most ambitious photograph to date, "LAST STAND." The photograph will feature a family in their last moments right before they are completely consumed by a horde of zombies.
Here is a rough sketch of what that will look like. You can watch the video above for a more detailed explanation of what's going on.
I have already cast the role of the father, and I am thrilled to announce that he will be played by none other than PHANTASM's A. Michael Baldwin. Not only that, Baldwin will be signing all the prints!
Additionally, we are very luck to have the amazing J. Anthony Kosar, star of season 4 of Syfy's Face Off, on board to do SFX makeup for us! And guess what? Kosar will be signing all of the prints too!
This will be one of my final photographs before I begin focusing on filmmaking, so I really want to go out with a bang. If you love Horror films - or Zombies, please consider supporting this Kickstarter campaign.

Risks and challenges
As with any photograph, there will be challenges constructing the sets and there will likely be modifications from the initial sketch that was drawn. But the core elements will remain the same.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
