Development Update #3: Fixed Video

Hello everyone, I am very sorry to bother you with two updates in one day, but Kickstarter does not allow editing of previous updates (older than 30 minutes, that is), so I have no way to correct the video link given in the previous one.  As you may or may not know, the previously-linked update video had no audio for the last few minutes. I've killed off the corrupted version and uploaded a new, fixed one. Here's the new link:

      do you have a website or someway to increase the pledge? I have more money now so >_> yea.....

      would something like an assassination have repercussions, or don't the locals mind misc murder?
      I could see if you had a ships system that hid your shipID, or activated jammers so the target can't call for help... so you could get away after an assassination..
      and.. unless you're dealing in cash, shouldn't need to go back to the asteroid to get paid.
      also, I noticed you left his ship hanging in space.. might there be a way to tow it in for salvage?
      that could be a good way to get new weapons, ships, cash, or 'other'...
      possibly their cargo as well.
      just some thoughts. :-)
      I know it's ongoing, and it's not that I expect these things at this point, just tossing my 2 cents in. :-)

      @Franz, TheMightyBear - Check the video description: the missions are placeholder solely for the purpose of testing mission mechanics / interfaces. This is not how missions will work in LT, they will not be generated artificially.

      Hmm. I find the concept of picking all the side missions from a list a little bit boring/monotonic. Also when it comes to distress call missions, it seems a little bit unrealistic. It would be much cooler if you would actually receive a distress call (like in Star Trek) and if you answer it, then you can get the side mission.

      Just a couple observations from this video.

      Sound effects - can you do more realistic sounds? For instance, we should not be able to hear enemy fire (unless it's colliding with us we would hear the impact). Also for our own fire we would hear missiles detaching from the haul of the ship or the vibration of a machine gun. For examples of good sound effects check out battlestar galactica. Still the best space sound effects to date imo.

      Mission Location - I am assuming not every mission is going to be directly right out side your base but I just wanted to check.

      Runs on Windows - 64KB size - just watch and be amazed :) Not sure but I think there are some procedural stuff going on in the background?
