As you may or may not have heard, the band Spain (that's us) were planning to release, with an outside label, a 7" of our first new songs in over eight years - "I'm Still Free", and "Hang Your Head Down Low" - recorded during the summer of 2009. The agreement with said record label fell through, as agreements sometimes do, and although the single has been released digitally and as a limited edition CD, now Spain would like to turn to you for support in manufacturing the single to 7" vinyl, the way it should have been released in the first place.
What we would like to do is press a limited edition of 500 "I'm Still Free" 7" singles on red vinyl, with white paper sleeves and a fold-over jacket in a clear baggie. We would like to press them at United Record Pressing in Nashville, Tennessee, one of the oldest and most respected vinyl pressing plants in the U.S. The money we receive will be applied directly to the 7" manufacturing costs: mastering, plating, the extra charge for red vinyl, color setup charge, test pressings, basic labels, fold-over jackets, and the 7" records themselves.
