FOUR - A Psychological Short Film
A short film about a young man and his struggle to have a normal relationship whilst living with extreme OCD.
FOUR is a psychological short film about a young man named Dylan Green and his struggle to have a normal relationship whilst living with extreme OCD. The film focuses on the effects of OCD and how it can effect people in many ways in different aspects of their life.
Below is a link to a short clip of what FOUR could look like. The short was made with little to no budget and was shot in one day. It is only a mock-up of what the final film will look like as the script and dialogue will be entirely different. Feel free to watch it to get a feel of the type of themes we will be portraying in FOUR.
FOUR will be shot in London to give the film a social and active feel to contrast with the mental illness of the protagonist. A handheld shooting style combined with up close and uncomfortable angles will give the audience a feel of the awkward and uncomfortableness created and felt by Dylan.
An original music score will also be key to creating the true nature of Dylan's mental illness. Some scenes will have no dialogue at all so a great score will be imperative.
We want to create films that have a reason to be made, to create something thats reflects a true meaning. We believe there is more to a film than just what you see on the screen.

HOW WILL THE MONEY BE USED?
The majority of the cast, crew and collaborators involved will be working for free. However, we still need money for:
- food and transportation
- equipment hire
- wardrobe & props
- insurance and licenses
- film festival fees
Anything you can donate will help us reach our target goal and enable us to progress in production of FOUR. Unless we reach our target goal, we won’t receive a single donation through Kickstarter.

Risks and challenges
- Shooting outdoors in poor weather conditions: this will be solved by scheduling the shoot days and locations around weather forecasts (and, if necessary rewriting scenes to take place indoors).
- The potential that cast and crew members may drop out/not be able to make the shoot: to solve this one, we'll have back up actors on standby, same applies for crew; we have a wide network of local contacts interested in making films.
All of these can easily be solved, meaning we can make an awesome film- so please help us!
