Cartography Shipping Notifications

Posted by Jon Adams (Creator)

You may have received a shipping notification from our partner Playford Games. Please keep that for your records just in case. We inadvertently triggered some erroneous shipping notices. More than likely you will receive a new tracking number. I'm sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Thanks again,
Jon Adams

There will be 6 stacks. One for each kind stacked face up.

Playford Games will be posting a 4 player guide at some point in the future. In the meantime you might be surprised to hear there aren't any additional rules for four player games, but keep in mind it doesn't matter who is surrounding a group. If a token or group of tokens is completely surrounded it is captured.

Not sure if I'm missing anything, but do the rules state how many separate stacks the tiles should be in? Also, as noted before, what modifications are needed for a 4 player game?

For anyone waiting, my game just arrived today, so they ARE shipping. Looks great, can't wait to play!

@ William Castrogiovanni: by the way. If you want to get lunch some time that'd be cool. Where are you at these days?

      Hey Jon,

Kudos on Cartography! Just received my copy tonight. The folks at Playford Games really did a remarkable job bringing your vision to life. Everything about the final product is first rate. Congrats, man!

So are you actually shipping now? I get the batch shipping (makes sense). Just want to know if there's progress on the shipping front.

Jon, I got a notice with the correct address. It says ups will have it here on the 11th. It better be here, or you are going to here it from me like never before!

It is very possible many backers received notifications with the wrong address. We are going to make sure we have all the correct addresses before we actually ship. The notifications sent out were not supposed to be sent.

I've just received my UPS notification today and my address is wrong. I know I changed my address on/or about 14 July after I received an email to verify my address and it was showing the wrong address. I made an attempt to change the address through MyUPS' but could not.

@max, it's my understanding that the address issues will be resolved before we ship that said if you have concerns, please send me a direct message with the address you would like to use an ill do my best.

I had 7 notifications as well (3 tracking, then 3 cancellation, then 1 tracking again).

But this is the first time I'm dealing with UPS services and I am not quite sure of what they want from me. The e-mail says: "A signature is required for package delivery" and then there is a "Sign now" button which links to UPS website where I am invited to log in.

Should I do something about this or simply wait for the package to arrive?

Anyway, it is nice to see that the packages are arriving soon :)

I got 7 notifications: four tracking numbers and three cancelations, all to the wrong address. I sent you an updated address when you asked, but it looks like it didn't make it through to your fulfillment team.

Sounds like progress to me! Didn't get an erroneous email, but glad to hear what sounds like packages being ready to ship!
