Wow, $110,000! You guys have just succeed in getting a 7th chapter for the game! Well done - thanks a lot!

Now we are looking at the next stretch goal, $150,000, which will result in the awesome Grant Kirkhope writing a music piece for the game! In case you haven't heard his work yet, hurry up and visit his Bandcamp account!

(Also, please note that that most of the money in the $150,000 stretch goal goes to improving existing chapters by adding enemies, NPCs, items and new abilities! It is not because Mr. Kirkhope wants $40,000)

The biggest hurdle getting this onto a Nintendo console would be Nintendo it's self...

Great stuff guys. Is it time to get a Wii U version on a stretch goal? I'm not being impatient, but I've seen too many "I'll donate when they announce a Wii U port" comments out there on the web.

Loved the gif, so vivid and full of life and colors, it reminded me of the stage Ricco Harbor in Super Mario Sunshine, probably the best 3D platform I have ever played (I place it over Super Mario 64, for example). Swimming indeed makes everything better. I just miss some more enemies and NPCs in the stage, it looks a little too empy and lonely for Hat Kid, but I guess that's what you guys already intend to do with the next stretch goal. :-D

It looks like Hat Kid can get from point A to point B FAST if you know what you're doing. That's exciting! Can't wait to give this a try for myself!

Did anyone else's mind immediately jump to the City Escape theme from Sonic Adventure 2 on seeing this? Or... was that just... me...?

@Peter - haha that's funny, and that was a good article! I've gotta agree with it, there is NOTHING like the water in N64 games (especially lake Hylia, that sound it makes when Link is swimming is just the BEST ever!!) but for some reason i can't stand the water in Assassin's Creed III, I don't know why, I just think it doesn't look as good hehe!

@John I have to imagine the deal was worked out to include the music in a $150,000 stretch goal before he posted to Twitter, so while the new stretch goal may not have been up yet, it certainly was already planned that way.

@Epona: Naaah, she is sinking.... with style! :P
Reminded me of this article: http://www.retrojunk.com/article/show/2682/water-in-video-games
"A good videogame should let you swim or at least get in the water."

The game already looks awesome, so you must really be polishing it. It's going to be so hard waiting until February of next year for this...

Sorry to sound like a negative Nancy, But when he said he would do the music if you reached all goals, Why was a new goal made for it? I know you wanna add all that extra stuff though. Please don't look at me badly, Just curious.
