Funded in Seven Minutes

Well...

I honestly don’t know what to say. We funded this project in seven minutes.

$30,000 in just seven minutes.

Mark Diaz Truman and I hit the “GO” button and seven minutes later, we funded.

I’m watching the site right now, and it’s still going. Kickstarter is truly a live site, so you can watch the total go up. Watch the backers increase, watch the funding increase.

It’s still going.

This is amazing. Breath-taking. I honestly don’t know what to say.

So, I’ll just say, “Thank you.” Except, imagine me saying it thirty thousand times.

Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you...

An amazing start. Been playing for over a decade now, a staple at our gaming table. I'm glad to see the world updated.

I turned on my computer, went to kickstarter and laughed with delight at how quickly this was funded.

I was a bit late getting my computer on, so I just added my mite to the funding total (and I may be upgrading it to hardcover if I can get the cash). But woo hoo!

The longest campaign I have ever run, in 31 years of GMing, was eight and a half glorious years of 7th Sea. Thank you.

Thank *you*! It's hilarious that this is happening this year, of all years, because I finished my 7th Sea First Edition collection about a year ago and have spent the intervening time prepping a campaign with streamlined rules and... a new map with many of these features too, including a Khanate north of the Mirror Sea, more detail across the Western and Southern Oceans, etc.

Just fantastic to see a new take on the rules from the original designer and storyteller, to add to my mix!

No Thank you John for bringing us more of the 7th Sea we love. It has always been a system I cherished with stories, characters and players that make it memorable and exciting.

Not surprised in the least. I was part of the original Song of the Sea living campaign as a GM. Our tables were always packed, every Gencon we ran it.

Thank you. You can ask Mark how much this means to me. I'm hiding in my cubicle at my office because my eyes teared up when it funded.
