backer rewards

Hi, been a while since I posted an update here. I'm continuing to work hard on developing the git-annex assistant, and soon I will release the first beta version of it, which will be basically usable.

I've also started working on fulfilling the Kickstarter rewards. I received this sample of the USB key today. Getting it turned out to be a saga, you can read about the whole story in my blog: http://joeyh.name/blog/entry/UPS_farce/

I've sent out shipping information surveys to backers who will get the USB keys. Stickers are also coming soon, and the t-shirts will probably be a bit later.

As for my backers who signed up as beta testers or to influence the direction of the project, your less tangible rewards will kick in once the first beta release is out. I'll be using your feedback to prioritize features I add to the git-annex assistant, as its base becomes complete.

OK - well it is looking like this project is dead without deliveries too....

Part of the problem with engineers (I say so because I are one) is that to stop them from continuously delaying delivery one needs to set a feature set, a deadline, and when the feature set is complete then the engineer needs to be sent away while fulfillment ships a product.

Hello! any updates? how is going your work? Filippo

Have you had the time to address the bugs I reported in email and on this forum related to OSX yet?

I does not work. So, it is not delivered...

Yep, everyone who is only getting stickers should be receiving them soon. Shipping out hundreds of envelopes turns out to be quite fun, especially when half of them go international.

How does my fridge work?! Well, let's see, propane or DC current heats a liquid, turning it to a gas, which flows into a condenser. From there, I think it's basically the same as your fridge.

FYI, stickers came in last night.

Oh, I noticed that you've commented on amazon glacier elsewhere. Nevermind.

Thank you for the reward, even though I think it wasn't mentioned when I selected the reward. At least I wasn't expecting a reward.

Thank you also for the updated roadmap. Have you checked out amazon glacier? How hard would it be to suport that as a git-annex remote?
