I need help funding my first LP 'Undercover'. It will be released in 2012 and will be a similar style to my last EP 'Fading Autumn'.
Listen to the first single from "Undercover" now
For most of 2012 I've been writing my first album. I want to release it before the end of the year but to do that I need some help. I've already finished writing and I've recorded demos of all the tracks (check some of them out in the project video). All that's left is to record the final versions, mix and master it and get it out!
The style of the music is similar to my second EP 'Fading Autumn' which I released a year ago. I'm influenced by Thin Lizzy, The Gaslight Anthem, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bloc Party and many others but my music takes on a sound of it's own, drawing from all of those influences.
I will be using the money earned from all you wonderful people to help fund recording the record, commissioning the artwork and production of the flash drives/CDs/t-shirts that go along with it.
If you like the 2 songs I posted above you will love the new LP! It follows on from where 'Fading Autumn' left off. Look through all the levels and rewards and find the one right for you, there are lots of cool things available and you can back for as little as £1.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
I have experience recording and releasing two EP's and a single prior to this so although I know what I'm doing I also know there can be delays.
- Making the record sound great is the most important thing. That could take longer than expected.
- Getting the flash drives, t-shirts and other physical rewards shipped could take some time depending on the number of backers and where you are from.
- Putting an album together is very challenging and involves a lot of different things. I hope it is ready by the end of 2012 but I won't put it out unless it is finished. If that takes an extra few weeks sorry, but I promise you will get what you pledged for.
