About this project
About Politics After 5
So you hate the news. Most people do - it's an endless spiel of talking points. Have you ever wondered:
What is President Obama’s drink of choice when he’s out?
Where does Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi get her shoes?
Who are Senator Marco Rubio's top 5 favorite rappers of all time?
Politics After 5 isn't just going to be another news show. Imagine sitting down and having a drink with former Governor Jeb Bush. What would you ask him? What do you really want to know? Now imagine that you could be having drinks with all of the biggest names in politics every week.
Every show I'll talk about things with my guests that you won't hear on other news show. Topics like music & entertainment, sports, their fashion choices, pop culture, their personal lives, and more. It's my way of letting them loose a little, No suits, no ties, just real talk.
I'll also dig in to the hot political issues and find out what they REALLY think about immigration, budgets, healthcare, their fellow public servants, and so much more.
About the host
The best way to describe me: I'm a half political junkie, half socialite, and exactly the person you’d want to watch having drinks with some of the top elected officials. I've had the privilege to work with the Republican Party of Florida, the College Republican National Committee, and the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections office. I am a registered Republican but I promise to be non-partisan and play nicely with Democrats too. I want EVERYONE to enjoy this show, no matter what your party affiliation is.
Where will your money go?
The goal of this Kickstarter is to cover the expenses for the initial set-up and production of the first 15 episodes for the show. After that, I plan to continue the show with the support of advertising revenue.
1. Production equipment needed to produce a high quality show. This includes a camera, lighting, post production equipment and more, as detailed on my Amazon Wish List.
2. Travel expenses. In order to get news content you won't see anywhere else, I plan on doing interviews throughout Florida, Washington D.C., and around the country.
3. Web Development and Design. This includes setup and launch of the Politics After 5 website, social media channels, Kickstarter rewards, and all the other elements that go into a strong brand.
If I don’t pledge, can I still be involved in the project?

Every show will feature a segment called 5 shots. No, I’m not serving actual shots to the guests, but 5 quick questions served by viewers that were picked from our social media pages. Part of making this a successful show is having involvement of the fans & supporters.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk will be booking interviews. Politicians are like celebrities; their schedules can be hectic especially during election season. They’re everywhere and they have busy lives. I do plan on interviewing other people besides politicians. I also want to interview journalists, political consultants & advisers, lobbyists, and anyone else who is involved in the process.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
