Take the best design patterns for mobile apps, deconstruct them then build them back up into functioning apps. Read more

About this project
The primary goal of this project is to create a book, both in electronic and physical form, that provides mobile application developers with a reference for creating great apps. The structure of the design patterns will be oriented from the user interface down to the code. The end result is that each pattern will contain:
- User Interface Wireframe
- Implementation (the code)
- Alternate Embodiments
The design patterns will primarily be taken from analyzing the best of breed UI elements of currently available applications. The key elements of the UI will be abstracted into a repeatable implementation and then implemented as a working example application. These example applications will be made available for download through a separate distribution point.
The funds will be used to perform the research to create the design patterns and to publish both the ebook and hard copies. At this point in time, I have amassed a significant collection of notes on current mobile app designs and will begin to formalize these notes once the project is funded.
