Have a question?
So what's the chance of me having the material to start a 5E campaign in May?
Time for an update.
soooo.... update? It has been over a month
Still haven’t gotten anything but design notes
So for the Salt in Wounds Bestiary, will it be part of the Campaign Setting Guide book or will it be its own unique thing?
It's always easy to tell who isn't reading the updates page by the inane commentary in this section.
@John Hendricks, I think this is a case of runaway success impacting the timeline more than poor planning. He exceeded his goal 10x over and has a lot of stretch goals to write. The steady communication buys my forgiveness. Welcome to KS
@John Hendricks. Nope still in production, seems to be going very slow.
Was this project cancelled? This was my first KS, and it has been so long I forgot about it. It shows the ship date was a few months ago, but scanning the comments, it doesn't seem to have ever went out..
Any updates on when this will ship?
Any updates as to when this project will ship?
Blood Merchant checking in, here's everything I have received so far and when I received it for anyone trying to dig the rewards etc out of your emails:
Backerkit Survey [Received 7/19/17]
Design Notes: Making SiW & Advice on How to Make it Yours [Received 12/30/16 from DriveThruRPG]
The Adequate Commoner (Pathfinder) [Received 12/12/16 from RPGNow]
The Alchemist (5e) [Received 12/17/16 from DriveThruRPG]
Playtest Access [Google drive share link received 1/18/17 from directly from JM Perkins]
Tarrasque Touched Mutation Supplement (5e & Pathfinder) [Received 8/21/17 from DriveThruRPG]
Same as CJ: I'm not sure I completed the survey, certainly haven't received the PDFs, and I couldn't find your email address to contact you directly. I'm probably missing all of this in a really obvious place, but I would appreciate some help nonetheless. Thank you!

I like the Mutations but I feel they lean more towards 5e comparability than Pathfinder. Was this intended, or a mishap?
I am Marrow miner level so I should be getting both PF and 5e material so that where me confusion is coming from.
As for a review of the Mutations material;
The mutations themselves seem cohesive and match up. I won't discuss which are over powered as this is opinion based and is subject to situations.
the Sorc Bloodline does seem a bit powerful, especially in a campaign that relies more on story telling that combat. But these are just my opinions. I feel like the wording in the Sorc bloodline could be better. It is kind of confusing.
Does anyone know how to access the playtest files?
I upgraded to Marrow Miner with the pledge manager, will I be able to access this material?
I upgraded to Marrow Miner with the pledge manager, but it still shows me as a Process Guild Member on this site. How can I access the Playtest material?
What happened to the regular update?
How do I access playtest material?
In the pledge levels it said to add funds for international shipping, but I'm not seeing that anywhere in the pledge manager (As is I have funds remaining and don't know what to do with them). Anyone know what's up?
@Jono, yes it looks as if you can change the pledge level in the Backerkit.
The pledge manager is asking for an additional $10 for shipping a physical book - I thought that was just for international shipping?
Any chance the survey will have an option to upgrade our donation level if we want to up to a Marrow Miners level?
If you backed at the Marrow Miner level or higher, how do you access the playtest folder?
In the June 1st update, John (creator) stated he was going heads down for 30 days.
question what is the status of this i havent heard anything recently
Is the form we've just recieved in email for possible npc ideas related to the npcs named after our donation level? I don't want to double up the entry but I'd also not want to miss my chance.
Has there been a pledge manager or something set up to pick add-ons yet
@robert I am in same boat only gotten design notes
YOu may want to look at Encoded Designs they have a layout guy who may have some time to do it.
@J.M. Perkins Just curious where the playtest folder is? As a Blood Merchant Backer I have only gotten the Design Notes and no other pdf that has been said to be released. I have looked through the updates and dont see a link or anything. I hope it is just that I am blind. Let me know!
That wouldn't absorb them unless they were tossed into it's stomach and digested, which in itself would be a grizzly fate. What you describe would crush them though, but it might also taint resourced gathered from the tarrasque with non-tarrasque blood and stuff.
haha yea don't get me wrong. it's a totally dumb idea that would be played mostly for laughs.
that got me thinking again though, JM has already touched on the brutal criminal punishments with truncation being reserved for the worst criminals. what if they also sentence people to death by restraining them within the tarrasque to be slowly absorbed by the regenerating body of the beast. pretty nasty.
I think that is an interesting idea, but they'd need someway for the audience to view the 'runners' and that would be problematic. although running around on the Terrasque's hide might work given the critters there and hazardous spikes and stuff underfoot, could watch from the surrounding walls then.
i'm watching Ultimate Beastmaster on netflix and got the idea that something like that could be incorporated into salt in wounds. Could be some kind of life or death obstacle course where people navigate the ever changing/regenerating body of the Tarrasque for the entertainment of the citizenry after the god butchers have carved out a path. Just a possibility depending on the campaign!
Only have gotten the designer notes none of the other PDF's you have talked about. I funded past the Marrow Miner.
@ian thank he was also a5e alchemy too I think and I also didn't get commoner
Marrow Miner here, I don't think I ever got the Adequate Commoner or the Design Notes.
I received the two PDFs but didn't get the Design Notes, don't know how many other Blood Merchants didn't get the notes.
Upon a lot of inspection I have received design notes but none of the other pdfs
I messaged him I have received nothing since we funed but we think I'm the only marrow miner that's had this lucky me
Hmm I wonder what happened to delay the Design notes that were supposed to be released yesterday.
I haven't gotten mine
I have received my copy of Adequate Commoner back on the 12th and Alchemist 5e on the 17th.
Any marrow miners and above still waiting on their copies of the adequate commoner and the alchemist 5e?
Well that's interesting concept haha
Probably, but if a player plans it properly they are probably planning on getting someone else to take the fall for it. As odds are they aren't crazy enough to be seen walking up and casting animate object. They would probably do something like using nondetection to foil scrying and diviniation attempts to discover what happened and a potion of invisibility or someone else casting greater invisibility on them to not be seen in the act. Then again there are players on the other end of the spectrum that pull stupid stuff just for immediate laughs without thinking about consequences. or worse, they are intentionally trying to derail things just to see if they can.
That's just asking for truncation.
