Hey guys, Melanie here! We have one week left to go! I think we are doing pretty awesome. A couple days ago we reached OPEN ART SUBMISSIONS!! So without further ado, here are the guidelines for you artists out there:

--Work on your absolute BEST piece of artwork that expresses the attitude and theme of this anthology: Strong, well-developed female characters fighting for what they believe in, protecting what they love.

--Artwork should be black and white!

--Starting on SEPTEMBER 15, send your art submission in PDF format to our graphic art designer, Shawn King, at graphics@ragnarokpub.com.

--The deadline for all submissions is OCTOBER 15, 2016.

--any submissions outside of these dates will not be considered.

--Please use the subject heading "HATH NO FURY ART"

--This IS a paying venue.

Let us know if you have any questions!

I would also like to draw your attention to another anthology that is currently on Kickstarter, the 2017 YOUNG EXPLORER'S ADVENTURE GUIDE! This book is a collection of stories aimed at middle grade readers, with the goal of sharing science fiction stories that focus on representation and diversity with the next generation. They are a SFWA Star Project selection! Check it out, you won't want to miss this! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/815743020/2017-young-explorers-adventure-guide?ref=nav_search

We are a few hundred dollars away from having open fiction submissions, which is always very exciting, so stay tuned and thanks for helping us spread the word!!

I have quite a lot of art featuring strong women. Rather known for it, actually. But does it have to be 'combative?" I have some, but a lot of my work tend to the mood piece. :)

Info for the artists interested in submitting: Plan on this being a full-page piece to fit a book no larger than 6x9".
Can't wait to see what you all come up with! :)
