I fly to Georgia on June 1st and arrive on June 2nd. There will be about eight days of project time. After I return on June 9th, it will take a week or two to develop all of the film, and about a month to process everything to presentable levels.
Book production will take several months as I acquaint myself with the final material and decide how to lay it out and organize it, prepare proofs, and finalize it for production.
Backers will be invited to see my progress gallery as I work on it. The work will be released publicly after completion.
The epub format is viewable on several different platforms. I use mine primarily on iPad and other iOS viewers. Since my ebooks are all graphic spreads, I recommend using one that allows you to view both pages, as you would naturally view a book of photograpy. For a more complete list of viewers, try the Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPUB
The price of my books is based on the manufacturing cost. I publish on a print-per-order service (Blurb). Although they do a good job of producing quality books, the cost is very high. At a pledge of $150, I earn about $60 to put towards my project, which is actually about the same as I make for the large photographs.
