Sneak Peek, updates about wednesday, first gifts in the mail...
Dear beautiful folk,
They're talking about you on the blogs again... and I wanted you to be among the first to get a sneak peek behind the curtain at the How Philly Moves exhibit installation now getting set up in the baggage claim at Terminal B in the airport. See the attached image by our lead muralist Jon...
We've just confirmed that this Wednesday's celebration at the airport will feature not only the Unidos da Filadelfia samba drumming corps but also the West Philadelphia Orchestra balkan brass band, so plenty to get you dancing. I think official capacity limit of the event is 750, so there's still plenty of room for you to share the event on Facebook etc. It's a unique opportunity, so I hope you'll join us if you can.
Mural Dedication / Rooftop Dance Party
Wednesday October 12
5-7pm at the PHL international airport.
PS re: rewards:
The first batch of thank-yous is in the mail, after a couple of hijinx with the postal service. Mugs and 8x10s will be shipping separately. It's been something of a learning experience putting together a mailing like this, and both the biggest rewards and the most easily sent digital downloads are actually going to be the last ones going out.
If you didn't respond to the backer surveys and give us your current address, you can send a note to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get those out to you in November- right now Rachel's got her hands full doing the scheduling for the shoots... an amazing pile of beautiful Philadelphians has signed up for this exciting event that you've helped fund, and we're finalizing all the details now.
