Love my Cineskates! I have the Gecko suction cup system but im considering pawning that bad boy for some squid action. I saw there was supposed to be some code for backers... where is the code? I am stoked for some robo action skates too.. that will make for some great motion timelapse! Thanks for all you do!

Hi Joseph, thanks for the comment. We've actually given Kickstarter backers the best possible pricing; I don't understand your concern. Shoot us an email at info@cinetics, and we can answer any questions :)

So as I was about to order my cinesquid I noticed something. That the cineskates with the cinesquid is 385 and without its 300. but the cinesquid by itself is 120. So thats a $35 difference for not waiting. I think this is unfair to the backers of the original cineskates project.

I received mine recently and they are awesome. I used them together with my new product called Follow Me - see the video with Cineskates incorporated -

      Help, disaster!!

I ordered my cineskates to be sent to Denmark.
Apparently they arrived about a month ago, but the post office did not send me a notice until a week ago (mail was not delivered) so it's now been sent BACK! to the U.S

Help, what do I do now??

It was sent back from the danish post office the 24. of november.

What a horrible experience. I've been waiting like a little child for this, and now THIS happens.

Really happy with my new "toy that I did not hink I ever would need but now cant live without". Everything was nicely packed with boxes and bubbel plastic. Only thing that was broken was the instruction leaflet. Justin, is it possible to download the instruction from somewhere? I'm looking forward to accessories as the suggested wheel locking ratchet etc so it will be easier to take time laps pictures. The wheels really roll on flat surface :)

    25. Cinetics 4-time creator on November 20, 2011

Hi Christian, we unboxed some of the tripods and pre-attached CineSkates to them. We did this to guarantee that the connection between the tripod and the CineSkates was perfect. When we pre-setup the whole system, it fits perfectly in the box. There is no room for anything to move, so bubble wrap is not necessary. We hope you are loving your CineSkates!

    26. Christian Schmeer on November 20, 2011

Is there any reason my package didn't have any bubble wrap (or other padding) whatsoever and the Gorillapod and Ballhead X didn't come with their original packaging? The unboxing videos I saw on Vimeo all had bubble wrap in the box and the original packaging :/

    27. William Bullock on November 20, 2011

Hey Everyone! Your CineSkates are in route to you :) If you have not received your CineSkates, they should be to you in two weeks at the most (USPS says about 10 days for international shipments). I'll get into more detail in a project update very soon! Thanks from all of us at Cinetics!!

Got my CineSkates today (UK) following a 4 day hold in customs plus £39 duty. The CineSkates look terrific, great build quality and lovely smooth action. Will add a whole new dynamic - thanks to all at Cinetics.

    35. Cinetics 4-time creator on November 14, 2011

We're still shipping out everyday, and we are doing our best to have everything sent out by the end of the week :) Thank you all for your continued support!
Tom, glad you solved the problem getting the ballhead secured to the tripod. The little thread adapter gets recessed in the BallHead X sometimes.
Moustafa, your CineSkates should roll very smoothly. We put significant effort into making sure each one rolls smooth and quite. I'll email you, and we'll find a solution to your problem.

Got mine today, went pretty smooth through the Dubai customs, even though i had to pay an extra 25 dollars.
Can't wait to get started with some footage. Buckling up. Thanks team and amazing start.
My skates seem a bit low on grease, other dolly's i have with rollers are quiters, any specific grease i could use to prevent that sound?

Tom Dignan on November 14, 2011

I found an extra screw expander thingy up in the ballhead's hole that was stopping the pod's screw from going any further. Now it is sweet. :)

I have filmed stuff around the house and the footage is really smooth and nice. Cineskates can make anything look epic. I love them!

      Thanks again!

Hi from Australia, I got mine today! Can't wait to film stuff with them. I have to wait for my camera battery to charge!

I have one question though. Is the Ballhead X supposed to touch the top of the GorrillaPod when screwed in all the way? Mine has about a millimetre gap and the screw won't go in any further. The whole ballhead turns on the screw, which doesn't seem right.

    39. MOKU on November 11, 2011

Retailer soon Justin or do I have to wait until the new year?

    40. Marco Christensen on November 11, 2011

Anyone in Sweden who got their "skates" yet? Life is too short to be waisted on waiting ;)

    41. Cinetics 4-time creator on November 10, 2011

Gary, thanks you! Glad you like your CineSkates :)
Afoi, we have some cool things in the works. We'll let you know when new Cinetics components are ready!
Daniel, we include an invoice in a sleeve on the outside of each international package. We will send another to you via email. Sorry for the customs trouble, and we hope you enjoy your CineSkates!
Toni, we do have to include an invoice on each international package, or they will get stuck in customs like Daniel's. We wish taxes were far less than they are in many countries. We are glad you like your CineSkates!!

    42. Daniel Ferrer on November 10, 2011

Michel, I need your "invoice" to pay the spanish customs. Could you send it to me?

    43. Daniel Ferrer on November 10, 2011

Shit Spain government has my CineSkates blocked in customs... no comments. Paying again... this government only want to get money for everything. Hope government changes next month.

I got my CineSkates! They are awesome. A pleasure! Best Kickstarter experience to date.

Got mine. From Malaysia. BTW, any update on the motorized wheel? I'm looking forward for that. Thanks Justin.

    46. Michel on November 9, 2011

I'm accustomed to receive goods from the USA or Asia, from KS or others. The real value of the product is always clearly visible in the custom declaration sticked on the box. Then it is necessary to pay customs, taxes......

    47. Toni Benitez on November 9, 2011

      Hi justin,

Today I got mine in Milan, Italy.
However, I had to pay 65€ (around 90 bucks) for customs expenses.
Is anyone else in Europe experiencing the same problem?
I wonder if it's because of the shipping method (with value clearly stated on the box...) or that is the way it had to be.

Regarding the product, simply awesome. I know how I'm gonna spend next wknd!!! ;-)

    48. Dennis Beentjes on November 9, 2011

can't wait to get mine :) (The Netherlands)

I received my GorillaPod Focus + Head + Cineskates today (after it was held for about 4-5 days in customs - I live in London, UK). I have to say that I agree with the other backers here, this is an amazing product, the best Kickstarter experience so far with a great quality product and a great creation/support team.

The only negative thing is that the protection bag that came with the Cineskates has two small holes in it :/ Is there a way to buy a new one or so?
