Coffee Changers. We have news.

The machine works. Really works. And it’s ready to meet the world.

For the past few years, our lives have been this machine. We’ve been obsessed with perfecting every detail, chasing out every possible gremlin, scouring out any hiccups that may arise along the way. This project proved far more difficult than any of us expected. The process may have made us a little neurotic, breaths constantly held in wait for the next disaster.

Last week, we got a wake up call.

Hans was preparing breakfast when he noticed something that made his heart stop: smoke drifting from the kitchen. He ran to inspect the machine. He found only flawlessly roasted, perfectly ground beans and a beckoning pot of flavorful, fresh coffee.

The toast, however, was burnt beyond hope.

It was after this that we realized it was time to have faith in the work we’ve done. It’s time for our baby to meet the world. It’s time to launch our Beta units.

We immediately contacted our partners at Homezest. Their optimistic response was overwhelming. Enthusiastic and eager to start large production runs, these valued partners solve problems fast and are thoroughly training their team to run the smoothest, most efficient production line possible. We feel so lucky to have Homezest in the Bonaverde family - and further bolstered in our decision to move into the Beta phase by their positivity.

Excited as we are, however, we’re not going to move forward rashly. As you all know, we’ve learned the dangers of unbridled idealism first hand. We’ll be progressing into the next phase with care and intention, working with our Beta backers in a deliberately crafted staggered testing plan. We’ve already placed our order for the machines - now we just need to get them to our Beta backers in an organized, well-thought-out way. Keep an eye out for more details coming in the near future.
