The Jersey Devil Press campaign has been successfully funded, and that's all on you. Thank you from the bottom of our poor, cynical hearts. The books are shaping up nicely and we promise you won't regret this.
Surveys have been sent to those that require them, and once we have that info, we'll start getting our backers their stuff.
We ultimately didn't hit the stretch goal, so we can't guarantee an anthology this winter, but that doesn't mean we won't try. If the books do well enough -- and thanks to our backers they have a fighting chance -- we may still be able to pull it off.
Anyway, thank you, once again, to everyone who helped us out, posted a link, told a friend, or even thought of doing one of those things. We truly, truly appreciate everything everyone's done everywhere.
There’s still about a week left to go but we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for helping us raise the cash to publish and promote two books we are uncontrollably excited about: Eirik Gumeny’s Exponential Apocalypse: Dead Presidents and Ryan Werner’s short story collection Shake Away These Constant Days.
Speaking of gratitude, non-book-related rewards will be mailed shortly after the campaign officially ends on June 30th. Dead Presidents paperbacks and e-books will go out during the last week of July, while Shake Away These Constant Days will be in September.
Seriously, though, thanks to everyone who backed this – especially, you know, if you’re someone one of us doesn’t call “Mom." You’ve restored our often tenuous faith in humanity.
First off, thank you to everyone who has backed the project so far. We're at about 80% with most of June to go, so we're all breathing a little bit easier, thanks to you.
And now, the news.
Ryan Werner's short story collection finally has an official title, Shake Away These Constant Days, a table of contents 30 stories strong, and a tentative release date of September 25.
Eirik Gumeny's Exponential Apocalypse: Dead Presidents also has a release date, July 31, as well as a cover:
That's all we've got for now, but, rest assured, we're working hard. Thanks again, everyone!
