About this project
Not content with its webcomic status, "Santa Claus & Barack Obama versus the Martians" is bringing its particular brand of weirdness to Kickstarter in a mad bid to break out and bash baddies on actual paper.
With your help, we'll be able to fund a small press print run and tour the independent comics scene, attending local conventions and visiting shops in order to get this unique story into the hands of people who'll appreciate it.
"Santa & Obama" is also available for your reading pleasure at Wowio.com, even if you can't hold a physical copy in your hands. (Yet!) New users will be able to download the PDF for free, and those who have hit Wowio's five free comic limit will have the opportunity to purchase the digital copy for half a clam -- a small price to pay for giant robot dinosaurs and the sight of Santa chopping a martian in half with a double-moon axe.
Have a question? If the info above doesn't help, you can ask the project creator directly.
Pledge $1 or more
Backers who pledge a dollar or more will have their names and locations (e.g. Mike Jones from Truth or Consequences, NM) printed in a special thank you section of the comic.
Pledge $5 or more
In addition to the above, backers who pledge $5 or more can also add a unique 140 character message to their listing in the thank you section. You can throw a shout out to one of your home-dizzles, plug a website, heckle one of the creators -- if it fits, it prints!
Pledge $10 or more
$10 guarantees you all of the above plus a guaranteed free digital copy of the comic and an autographed copy of the print version.
Pledge $50 or more
Backers who pledge $50 or more will get all of the above, plus an opportunity to appear as a zombie in a brand new back-up featurette created especially for Kickstarter contributors, and the option to suggest how they'll (re)die!
