Sexism Has a Price Tag: Why We're Commemorating Equal Pay Day
Sexism has a price tag. On average, women had to work 99 days into 2018 to make the same as men made on average in 2017, which gets us to today, Equal Pay Day. And it's even worse for women of color: white women make 80 cents for every dollar a man makes, but African-American women make only 63 cents, and Latina women make just 54 cents. This is unacceptable. Today, we're demanding all women receive equal pay for equal work.
There are only 9 days left of our Kickstarter campaign. Join us for Equal Pay Day 2018 and help us finish funding this important film. Together, we can challenge systems of injustices so that everyone, regardless of gender, can fulfill their human potential.
