Girls Driving for a Difference: a design studio on wheels
by Jenna Leonardo
I am a Long Beach-raised, Brooklyn-based product designer. In 2014 I co-founded Girls Driving for a Difference along with Katie Kirsch, Rachel H Chung, and Natalya Thakur. We graduated from Stanford and hit the road for a summer-long road trip all over the US, teaching design thinking and leadership workshops for middle school girls. Since then, we've trained teachers and community leaders in our curriculum and even ran a summer camp, called Girl Possible, in 2018.
