SEASON ONE TEASER:http://www.youtube.com/watch...
WHAT IS "CAN JEFF RAMOS DO IT?"
It's the first crowd-funded and crowd-sourced show on the Internet. The idea of the show is simple: Every week, I'll challenge myself to do something new and help you learn along with me. From learning a new skill, performing a physical or mental feat to overcoming some of my biggest fears, I want to make the point that if I can do it, so can you!
WHO IS JEFF RAMOS?
I'm a man of average height, weight, strength and intelligence. I want to demonstrate that with the proper plan and determination, anything is possible. We hear many stories about average people overcoming the odds to achieve greatness. Whether you want to become a legend or just want to figure out the quickest way to learn something new, I'll be there to not only do the hard work with you, but to share what I learn with the world.
WHY SHOULD I SUPPORT THIS IDEA?
Supporting an idea like this helps everyone. I want to invest my time and energy to not only make myself a more well rounded person, but I want to take what I learn and share it with everyone. As I said before this is the first crowd-funded and crowd-sourced show. Your support keeps the show alive. Your support helps pay for expenses to create the show. A show that does more than entertain, it teaches. Your ideas and support help motivate me which in turn, will motivate you.
I'm not trying to become a star, an internet celebrity or even famous. I just want to become a better person. And I want the same for you.
I have OVER 100 IDEAS for the show so far. And with at least one episode completed per week, for an entire year, that's 52 episodes. I want to do at least TWO a week. So with your support, we can make this idea a reality!
LASTLY, WHERE IS THIS MONEY GOING?
A short breakdown of where I plan to allocate all this money:
- Living expenses (filming and editing a year long show alone, takes time.)
- High quality filming equipment (HD camera, good mics, lighting)
- Crew expenses (if need be - food, travel, payment for services)
- Storage (back up hard drives for unedited shots)
- Payments for challenges (paying for things like sky diving, swimming instructor, etc)
