UPDATE (4/25)

KIND OF A STRETCH GOAL!
Our final art print of the campaign is an 8.5x11 comic strip with art by Bago Gonzalez! If we reach $1001, this print is included in all reward tiers of $15 and up at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!
UPDATE (4/7)

We're about half way through the campaign and we've still got a way to go, so I'm offering up two new exclusive rewards! The first is a new print with 8-bit UHF art! Randy Riggs created this 18x24 inch print, featuring over 50 characters from the movie! The second is a new, DVD-sized sticker by Mark Welser featuring art inspired by the UHF-debuting "Money for Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies" music video! The print is only $20, and the sticker ships FREE to anyone who pledges to a tier of $10 and up! Both of these items are also included in our add-on menu below!

Hello, my name is Jeff McClelland. You may know me from...well, okay, you've probably never heard of me before in your life (sorry about that), but suffice it to say that I'm a fan of "Weird Al" Yankovic, and if you're reading this, then maybe you are, too! I'm looking to bring Al's 1989 movie "UHF" back to theaters for a one-time-only show on Sunday, May 31st, before the Mandatory Fun tour stop in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. (NOTE: you don't have to come to the screening or even order tickets to get the rewards!)

I'm asking for your assistance in bringing this screening to life by helping to offset some of the costs associated with licensing and rental fees in exchange for some cool rewards! Let's hear about some of the important details for this screening, shall we?
When?
We are looking to show the movie on Sunday, May 31st at 1:00pm. We'll watch the film, chat, and revel in the magic that is UHF.
Where?
This screening will be held at Latrobe 30 Theatre & Cafe, an intimate, two-screen, locally-owned theater located just a few miles from Greensburg. You can check out their website here: http://latrobe30theatre.com. Here's a map showing the direct route from the movie theater to the Palace Theater, where Al's Mandatory Fun concert will be held later that evening (the movie will be over in plenty of time to head over to the concert):

It's a straight shot on Rt. 30!
What's "UHF"?
UHF is "Weird Al" Yankovic and director Jay Levey's 1989 sendup of the film industry. The movie stars Yankovic, Michael Richards ("Seinfeld"), Fran Drescher ("The Nanny"), Victoria Jackson ("Saturday Night Live"), David Bowe ("Transformers"), Gedde Watanabe ("Gung Ho") and more, as characters George (Yankovic) and Bob (Bowe) try to save a struggling UHF station. The movie has spoofs galore and even a full-length, in-movie music video! Read more about it here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098546/?ref_=nv_sr_1

If you're a fan of the movie (or just Weird Al in general), I hope that you'll be able to find something here that you'll enjoy. First and perhaps most obvious, I'm offering up tickets to the show. The movie will be shown in a very small theater, so there will be only 60 tickets to be had at this time.

There are four different tickets, each featuring a different character in the film. The tickets, selected at random, can be had in three different reward tiers:
- One ticket
- Two tickets
- One ticket bundled with a bunch of the other rewards
What if I'm not from the area but still want some of that cool swag?
Well then, you are in luck! I realize that most people who see this won't be from the Pittsburgh area, but there's still an opportunity to get the other rewards mailed directly to you. Let's look at what else we've got!

Screening information will be printed on the back. This image will also be used as the basis for the wallpaper reward, which will be available in a number of different desktop and smart phone sizes.

You get all six 1.25" 8-Bit UHF buttons in one reward tier!

We've got three 11x17 art prints up for grabs, either separately or as a bundle.

In addition to being awesome, t-shirts will be available in men's (S-XXL) and women's (XS-XL) sizes.

Coming in at 27x40, this image is gigantic at full movie poster size! These will only be printed for this event, and once they are gone, they are gone for good! Needless to say, I'm very excited about all of the art for this campaign, but this movie poster is really something special.

Want something on top of your selected reward? Here's the à la carte menu with instructions on how to order!

I came to Kickstarter with this project because I want to make this screening as memorable as it can be. It takes a lot of time, money and effort to coordinate the screening of any movie, so I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to consider this project. I look forward to hearing from you in the comments section!

And finally, because it had to be asked:
Will Al be there?
Noooo! No. I mean, he's invited, of course (of course!), but this campaign is in no way related to Al and I don't expect that he'll have the time or inclination to show up, even if it is his dang movie. I don't know Al or represent him in any fashion. This is a fan-made project and I hope to meet other fans at the show. Let's make the most of it!
Risks and challenges
I've tried to do my best to prepare for success. All of the rewards are completed and set to print, the theater has been booked and we are ready to go. Weather-related events could possibly affect the screening, but in that eventuality I will do my best to reschedule at a later date.
