WMC Fest is a grassroots event to inspire and enable the creative mind featuring 20 speakers, 20 designers, and nearly 30 bands.
What is the Weapons of Mass Creation Fest?
The Weapons of Mass Creation Fest is the premier art, design, and music event in the Midwest. Now in its third year, 1,000+ attendees will descend upon Cleveland for three days in June to see 20 speakers, 20 designers, and nearly 30 bands. Creative professionals, entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, students, and fans will gather to learn, get inspired, collaborate, network, and celebrate together. To learn more, visit www.wmcfest.com!
The goal of WMC Fest.
WMC is a young grassroots movement to inspire and enable the creative mind. Good things happen when ideas and talents are shared within the community. This manifests itself in the lifestyle of a Weapon of Mass Creation, someone who defies the hand they’re dealt and makes things happen. Once a year, this community gathers to celebrate and showcase the creative visionaries who embody this lifestyle. Some have compared WMC Fest to SXSW, Brooklyn Beta, FITC, or the 99% Conference — but with more of an indie/DIY twist.
WMC Fest is about inspiring and helping others.
We've hand picked 20 inspiring visionaries to present their work and their ideas. Attendees will enjoy 10 energizing talks per day on the subjects of graphic design, art, entrepreneurship, leadership, productivity, creativity, women-in-tech, and more.

WMC Fest exists because of people like you.
Delivering a national-caliber event like WMC Fest takes funding. We've fought to keep ticket prices low and are benefitting from numerous donations, trades, and hours of volunteer work. Still, our hard expenses have grown, with the bulk of expenses come from covering the travel of our speakers and bands, as well as new developments for 2012, which include a mobile app and a social media platform for our wildly enthusiastic street team.
Your donation directly benefits the bands, speakers, and designers. Aside from paying them, there's also the cost of advertising, food, venues, and printing, to name a few. We're working hard to make WMC Fest the best creative event in the Midwest, so let's do it together!
Without your help and support, there wouldn't be a WMC Fest. If you want to support positive creative change and inspire and enable others to do the same, then you can do what helps us the most — make a pledge. Then come out to enjoy the event that you helped build! You only pay if we meet our funding goal.
Besides all the warm and fuzzy feelings you get from supporting a movement in its infancy, you can get a ton of awesome rewards. See over there to the right? The more you pledge, the more awesome your rewards get. So cast a vote today for an affordable, exploding movement that consistently delivers a national-caliber experience in a region full of hard-working go-getters.
