This project is the thirteenth installment of my ongoing effort to re-create my old TSR / Dungeons & Dragons artwork – which was destroyed* by some thoughtless functionary to make room in TSR’s files. Last time, I re-created nine drawings from AD&D modules A1: Slave Pits of the Undercity and A2: Secret of the Slavers Stockade. This time I’m re-creating eight drawings from AD&D module A3: Assault on the Aerie of the Slave Lords! These drawings include:
Elwita (p. 2)
Trap Door (p. 3)
Gnoll Illusionist (p. 6)
White Knight Sign (p. 11)
Ayares the Cutpurse (p. 12)
Wild Cat Barmaid (p. 15)
Mimic Floor (p. 16)
The new artwork will be posted to my DeviantArt page (jeffdee.deviantart.com) as it's completed, so you can see how they turned out. The artwork from my previous Kickstarters is already on display there, so check it out!

Nine pre-generated characters were included in the A-series tournament adventures. Some of them were depicted among the illustrations throughout the four A-series books, but they never really got full character portraits. We can fix that!
Every set of eight postcard prints - and every set of eight 8 1/2" x 11" prints - will ALSO include signed 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" prints of brand new drawings of these characters when backing reaches the following levels:
$2400: 'Ogre', Male Human Fighter
$2800: Elwita, Female Dwarf Fighter
$3200: Karraway, Male Human Cleric
$3600: Freda, Female Human Ranger
$4000: Dread Delgath, Male Human Magic-User
$4400: Blodgett, Male Halfling Thief
$4800: Phanstern, Male Human Illusionist
$5200: Eljayess, Male Half-Elf Cleric/Fighter
$5600: Kayen Telva, Male Elf Fighter/Magic-User
This project is dedicated to all of the artists I've enjoyed from the field of comics. You folks have been an inspiration throughout may career, so, thanks!
Risks and challenges
This project essentially follows the same model as my 12 previous TSR art re-creation projects, all of which were successfully completed.
I've had difficulty fulfilling stretch goals involving complete new fantasy adventures, however, and so I've chose not to offer one of those with this project. I foresee no difficulties in delivering the backer rewards for this project in December as promised.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
