I have a kindle account so how do I get my free copy?
A survey was sent to all the backers requesting information such as contact information, delivery information, etc . . . You filled yours out, no worries :)
What survey? Did I already do one?? Or are you referring to the size chart for the T-shirts??
@ The Chosen One,
I will post an update here with a shirt sizing chart. No worries on the international shipping cost (I wanted to keep you up to date on progress etc). Thanks also for the information. Cheers.
Also what are the exact T-shirt sizes? With 1 kind/type I have to pick L and with most M.
I was simply clarifying my post to Kelsey. And well a person who backed 1 isn't to familiar with KS usually and browsing through a lot of updates and all that comes with it. I've backed a 100+ KS now and you are the first to do it this way. Ofcourse as I said below it is a nice thought but when getting a lot of updates you hope to see something well informational. A general thank you as I said (or do a weekly big personal update) is more then enough, we backers know you are gratefull. :)
And now you have 90 backers but a next KS might have 200. If you were to do it the same then 27 updates could be 100+. It can be something that actually cause less backers to pledge.
And I saw no mention of international shipping so I asumed it was included but I threw in an extra $5 anyway.
Thanks man! I am beyond excited . . . very very dizzy from the whirlwind, but still pressing on, thanks to all the wonderful people here!
Congrats John! I am incredibly happy for you!! - Chaz
Your point is made, thank you again. I don't see the relevance of backing 1 kickstarter or 100, but again, point made. Kickstarter is based on building a community of people with a common goal and I understand the need to find information quickly and efficiently. However, kickstarters do not succeed without people, and to me, thanking people for taking their funds and putting it towards something that is not their own is the least I can do. In the future with updates if there is relevant content the title will be a bit more specific for easier browsing, same with the thank you updates. . . thank you again for your backing on this project and for submitting your input. :D
I will be contacting you about your rewards for your pledge level, as you are in Amsterdam I am looking up international shipping etc.
@ Lee and Sam, thank you so much! I am very excited for people to get to read this tale finally, complete and ready.
Congrats Jon, I am so pleased that Sam (Bell) told me of your project and am also thrilled to be able to be a part of this project. I can't wait to read the book(s).
Congratulations Jon! We are so glad you met your goal, and can't wait to read the book(s)! - Sam and Jake
Since you've only backed 1 Kickstarter it might not seems so important but the more projects you backed the more it matters. And I'm someone who doesn't have the e-mail alerts on either, if you have those on you get 'flooded' with updates there aswell.
As I said it is nice to thank people but a general ty on the bottom of an update or a big ty twice (beginning/end, well see 90% of the other KS) is more then sufficient.
And if a next KS is even bigger with more people you may get even more updates. Besides the constant updates it is also hard to browse through all the updates. Such things can actually turn off people from pledging and I've seen some people complain and unpledge for such reasons.
And I myself will not support another book/KS with so many updates. Getting funded quicker and for a higher amount is not a bad thing I'd say. Just saying. :)
I hope if future books are funded through kickstarter you do exactly what you did this time. Thank you for the endless appreciation and love given to those of us who funded and advertised the project. You're a wonderful, humble, sweet, endearing man. I am so glad you are closer to this dream, and that I could share in some small part in making it happen.
TheChosenOne, cheers mate for the pledge and the recommendation. I will keep that in mind for next time, I hope you found the info you sought. If not, please feel free to let me know.
Hope future books if done through Kickstarer can be bit less annoying. Thanking all backers personally though updates is nice and all, personal etc. and that sappy stuff but it is also very annoying to see constant updates bringing nothing else then ty person X, ty person Y etc.
I wanted to find a certain update but had to browse to tons of updates before I could even find it, it can also deter new backers when there are so many textupdates. I held off backing hoping it would NOT be funded in first instance but I'll jump in now and hope future ones can go differently.
A global ty once or twice or at the bottom of a normal update is more then enough, we get the idea quickly enough. :)
WE DID IT!!!!!!
No robbing banks. The backers will provide.
ONLY $500 TO GO!!!!!! IT HAS TO MAKE IT!!!!!! Maybe i should just go rob a small bank to get the rest of it lol
Almost to halfway! Can't wait to see this published.
Thanks Sam! I'm excited. We're now at 1/3 of the way and with 11 days to go. Very exciting.
Congratulations Jon, you're more than 1/4 of the way there! Keep spreading the word people! :)
