Launches Delayed, Project Still On Track
NASA recently announced that the final 2 launches are being postponed. NASA explained that more time was needed to get the required science on board the shuttles and that with the new time table, more will be accomplished during the next few months. STS-133 has been pushed back to November 1 and STS-134 has been rescheduled for February 26th. These dates, of course, are still tentative and could potentially be pushed back even further. The Production schedule has been modified to deal with the delays. As much as we would like, STS-134 will not make the final cut of the documentary that will be shown at Cannes. There is a possibility that it will be cut into the film once DVD distribution has been secured. At the very least, it will become a special feature for the DVD release, but given the submission deadline for Cannes, we simply cannot get it into the film beforehand. This, however, will not affect the final version of the film. We will be able to finish it with the launch of STS-133.
