About this project
The Creator and Director, Krystle Lee, developed Pageant of Queens to be a Self Esteem building tool for all women, by way of full figured women. It began as a dream during her senior year in college and manifested in reality by the end of the year. Over fifty different women came to take part in the fashion challenge and have taken principles learned in Pageant of Queens to become models, performing poets, fashion designers and more.
With the backing of industry professionals, model consultants, television network managers and certified doctors... Pageant of Queens is ready to be exposed to the world.
Objective
Pageant of Queens is a reality television show that takes fifty full figured females on a journey of self discovery, fashionista training, health tips, community service and a vivid display of creative ability. The women will be faced with challenges each week eliminating contestants and resulting in a live season finale between the final ten. This is the second season of Pageant of Queens, the first left a lasting impression on the women involved and viewers of all sizes, ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. There is no age limitation. The women will be competing for a cash prize.

It’s not about small women against large women... It’s about empowering women to embrace who they are whatever their physical makeup may be. This pageant is more than treadmill deep... We are serving the community, displaying love for humanity, dishing up secrets on love, finance and laying the foundation for a strong educational foundation.
This show will be used to repair damaging stereotypes and give a positive example of self love through fashion. It has been proven that a healthy self image leads to enhanced productivity which leads to a better community at large.
