Not to steal your thunder, but I hear you've just snagged an invite from the Irish Echo to promote your Kickstarter campaign for Go Home Paddy at the prestigious Bridges Award this week in Boston. Can't wait to hear all the details and, with only ten days left, hope this comes at precisely the right time to push this project over the top. Maybe you can even get Gerry Adams to put in a plug.! Knock 'em dead on Thursday.

Keep up the great work John. It's an important story that needs to be told. As someone of Irish descent, I love the way John brings our ancestors' stories to life both visually and in dialog. But you don't have to be Irish to relate to how they suffered. Sadly, their story is also the story of many minorities. Throughout history, when times get rough a vulnerable minority is often dehumanized and becomes the scapegoat. Stories like this help remind us of these very important lessons and encourage us to not forget where we've come from. I encourage others to join me in supporting it.

Keep pushing, under $1,500 to go. I'm hooked on the story and eagerly awaiting its completion. Your work to date has been edge-of-your-seat reading mixing the perfect blend of historical accuracy with the timeless story of the underdog chasing the dream...and the girl. Everyone can relate to this story no matter your race or ethnicity. Thanks for pursuing it and for making a difference.

I’m really looking forward to you finishing this creative and important work. It’s such a great story and telling it in the graphic novel mode will help it reach so many people. I think Go Home Paddy will help us to be more conscious of our own history and lingering prejudices. Keep up the good work.
