Now we are fully funded time for some stretch goals :)
- £3500 - I will create another section on migrating from Angular 1 to Angular 2
- £4500 - I will create another section on REDUX.
Who am I and why you should listen to me?
My name is Asim and I have over 15 years experience building applications for organisations like the European Space Agency & Google.
Now I'm passionate about teaching technology to others and through my site codecraft.tv, udemy and stacksocial i've taught over 50,000 students Angular 1 through my course Angular 1: From Zero to Hero
What am I going to build?
Now I want to create a new course & associated e-book called Angular 2: From Zero To Hero and teach people Angular 2
Angular 2 is a completely different beast than Angular 1.
- Its much faster
- It's easier to architect complex applications
- It's got some amazing tooling for developers
Making it the most advanced and easiest to use web framework on the market today.
What are you going to get?
Angular 2: From Zero To Hero (Course & E-book)
Lifetime access to my Angular 2 course and E-book once they are released.
After taking this course you are going to be able to:-
- Build an Angular 2 application from scratch using Typescript.
- Write code using the paradigm of reactive programming with RxJS and Observables.
- How to manage the full development life-cycle including developing, testing, packaging and releasing to production.
- As well as how to use Firebase as a backend.
- And for existing Angular 1 developers you are going to know how map your old Angular 1 knowledge to these new Angular 2 concepts.
Early access to material
As I progress with the material for this course i'll also be doing a series of live webinars teaching each concept.
So if you can't wait for the finished product then, you'll be able to join those live webinars as well get access to the recordings afterwards.
Depending on the pledge you will also get access to one of my other courses.
Learn Real-World AngularJS with Practical knowledge that you can apply from day ONE.
Future Proof Yourself. Turn your existing web development knowledge into mobile development super powers with Ionic
How is the course going to be structured?
The course is going to begin with a quickstart.
We use a web editor called plunkr and create a basic Angular 2 application.
In this quickstart you get a 50,000 foot view of the major features of Angular 2 and since we use a web editor it means you can get stuck in writing code ASAP w/out having to spend ages setting up your computer.
Then chapter by chapter we go much deeper into each of these features.
But i'm not interested in just talking to you, I'm interested in you walking away with actual practical & applicable Angular 2 knowledge.
So this course follows the principles of
In each chapter i'll cover the theory for that feature, using plunkr as much as possible so you can try the code yourself in a browser.
Then you'll practice what you've learnt with either an online quiz or a practical exercise for you to complete.
Then i'll show you how to apply that knowledge in a practical way by evolving a project with you as we go along.
You are going to learn all about:-
- Components & Binding
- Dependancy Injection & Services
- Modules & Bootstrapping your Angular application.
- SPAs & Routing
- Angular CLI
- Reactive Programming with RxJS
- Packaging & Releasing
Who is this course for?
Or perhaps you are an existing Angular 1 developer who wants to level up to Angular 2.
The Zero in the title means new to Angular 2 but not new to web development.
Risks and challenges
Since this is content I will be creating the main risks are associated with me.
If i fall ill and can't complete the project or for whatever reason I don't manage to complete the promises in the pledges i will refund the money (minus kickstarter + transaction fees) back to the user.
The other risks are that the content becomes obsolete over time as the Angular framework changes through different versions. As with all my courses I continuously update them as content becomes stale, the risk is there might be some lag time after the API changes and I update the course.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
