UPDATE: Stretch Goal!
Thank you so much for all of the support that you have given me so far. We hit the initial goal for funding my new studio album! With these funds, we will be able to get a new album out. To say that I am humbled, is an understatement! You guys are amazing.
With that being said, we still have a few more days in this campaign, so I wanted to take this opportunity to encourage you to continue to spread the word and support the campaign. We’re going to set a stretch goal for the campaign. IF we can reach $60,000, then we will perform a special unplugged show in Nashville and film it for a DVD release! The Kickstarter backers will be the FIRST to know the details about the show. We will have a Kickstarter meet & greet for backers only to attend before the show.
Thank you for believing in this project, and believing in my music. Help me push to get as much donated to the campaign as possible, we will make this record HUGE, every dollar counts! Lets show the rest of the music industry what you can do when your fans become your record label.
Music has never been a choice for me. For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around making music and performing. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to travel the world and share my songs, and none of it would be possible without you, my amazing fans. That’s why I’m asking you to help me now as I set out to make my next album.
In the past, recording and releasing an album was possible only with the help of record labels. They paid for the studio, producer, music videos, and promotion, and it was almost impossible to do all of that without them. Now, through Kickstarter, I’m able to make and release music with the help and support of my fans.
My goal is $40,000, and that money will help pay for the recording, distribution, album artwork, photo shoots, videos, marketing, radio promotion, film and television licensing, and any other necessary promotion for the album.
This time, I’m making you my record label, and with your help, we can make this record happen and spread the music even further. Your support means the world to me, and I truly believe that together we can show everyone that good music and great fans are all that we need.
Risks and challenges
Recording an album that lives up to a high set of standards is not only a long process, but it costs a lot of money. Coming up with the album artwork, music videos, distribution and promotion of the album is just as difficult and expensive. In order to avoid cutting corners, I need your help to make this album the absolute best that it can be.
