Alas, but fear not.

With nine hours to go, I have zero confidence KUNG FU ANIMALS will fund which is sad and disappointing but okay. It’s sad and disappointing because I truly love this project and set a high goal so I could do right by it. It’s okay because I love the idea too much to abandon it.

I don’t know what the final form of KUNG FU ANIMALS will be but don’t count it out completely yet.

A huge thank you to everybody who supported the project with cash or by spreading the word or commenting. That amounts to over 170 of you which is amazing. Your support means the world to me. Thank you thank you THANK YOU.

Also, A free one sheet adventure on RPGnow.com may bring you project some great attention.

Any chance of a peek at that draft you had ready, for those of us who tried to support you?

I look forward to the next kickstarter. It's keep people excited if you start lower. 5-8 k perhaps, then keep people coming with a variety of stretch goals. Sample characters, one sheet adventures, for more elaborate stretch goals throw in a small (12-20) page source book now and then. I've seen this work for other kickstarters.

Can't wait to play this in Romania.

I'm really glad to hear that you're still planning on keeping the idea alive, even if the road might be a little bumpy in places. I really do think there's definitely an audience for this kind of great Saturday morning mutant heroes genre, and you definitely seem like the person who could fill it!

I eagarly await whatever way you have in store to release this book and setting. I am following you on KS now, so finding a relaunch on KS will be easy.

Glad to hear there are still plans for this in the future in some format or another.

      =)

Well, that's a bummer. I was looking forward to this. Please don't let it slide. I'd love to get a hold of the setting one way or another. dtrpg is a good idea if you can swing it. Whatever you decide (as long as it means pushing through and not giving up) I'll back it.

Sorry to see that KFA likely won't fund, but thrilled that the project will live on regardless. If you continue to need playtesters do consider me - I had a blast with the one-shot I ran.

I'm not sure if $20k is achievable for RPG Kickstarters that aren't "big name" items most of the time, but I *do* feel you could probably land in the $10k-15k range if you really wanted to invest time and energy into hype building, Con attendance, etc. as a "pre-relaunch" strategy. Ultimately, only you can decide where you want to go next, but wherever that may be you've got my support when the time comes! :-)

Aw! I was looking forward to this. Have you thought of organizing what you have as a supplement on drivethrurpg?
