      Congratulations Schyler!
It was wonderful getting to meet you... You are a delightful young woman and I completely understand why your Papa is sooooo proud of you!

For my picture, I would like to see if you can get any pictures of you being chased, harassed, or teased by a native animal. Nothing too dangerous, just funny and potentially embarrassing that would make a great story for a lifetime!!

Congrats on getting your pledge goal, hope you enjoy it over here in NZ, I strongly suggest staying at the 'Youth Hostel Association' (YHA) Hostels, they're really good and usually right in the middle of whatever city your in, and if you want an amazing NZ Experience check out - They're pretty cheap, and you might even be able to do some Working onsite for Food and Accomodation if you want to save a little more.

Kia Ora! I don't know you, but I love your project. As an American who now lives permanently in New Zealand, I can say with confidence that New Zealand is going to love you. Enjoy your 6 months on this side of the Pacific and if you ever get over to the South Island, look me up.

I will have to learn from your travels and maybe do a kickstarter project and travel, before I start my "real life" after college

This money is for whenever you get to one of those "Can I afford the three dollars?" moments.

As a backer, a mom of a cool young woman like you and a friend of your dad's I officially give you permission to do it!!!
Best of luck and best of life to you!

You've worked hard at school in college, a 3.8 GPA; you've worked hard to pay for college and educate yourself on managing your finances while maintaining your 3.8 gpa. You've learned manderine chinese (a great accomplishment) but also so much more about yourself and what is important to you. I am very proud of you creatively trading your talents for a chance to push yourself beyond your comfort zone and take this road less traveled. I look forward to hearing about all the wonderful travels and experiences, as well as the dissappointments and nightmare downpours and storms you get caught in, the frustration of fixing a flat in the middle of no-where, etc. It is great to see you working to make your dreams come true. Best of Luck.
