Where Board Game Meets Battleground
Welcome to The Realm, a rich and storied land entrenched in turmoil. You are a warrior, equipped with powerful weapons and magics to aid your faction in the fight for control. But beware, your skill in this contest will not be determined by the roll of a die, but by the throw of a card.
Rise of the Exiled is the perfect starter game, supporting up to 12 players and taking only minutes to play. Whether you're stuck waiting for the final member of your gaming group to arrive or just need a break before launching into an hours-long gaming experience, Rise of the Exiled is the ultimate mix of simple fun and strategic teamwork.
For more information on how to play Rise of the Exiled, watch our gameplay video below or read our rulebook here.

We are using a fulfillment company in the US to make shipping costs as cheap as possible for our backers. Because of the low cost of our game, none of our backers should be charged for customs. However, if anyone within the EU is charged, then please let us know and we'll reimburse the cost.
Jarom (left): As a long time tabletop player, Jarom is constantly churning out new ideas for unique and interesting games. And, as a father to five rambunctious kids, Jarom has the perfect playtesting group at his disposal. And yes, his kids are big fans of Rise of the Exiled.
James (middle): With an attention to detail matched by none, James is a valuable asset to any team as he gives every piece of the puzzle the attention it deserves. When it comes to game-making, this means he leaves no stone unturned (and no card un-thrown).
Brian (right): A person with too many passions, Brian is constantly struggling to find time to fit everything in. Whether it be Godzilla, Star Wars or creating a card-throwing game, Brian goes all in, doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
Risks and challenges
While this would be our first successful Kickstarter campaign, it is not our first campaign for Rise of the Exiled. We've already learned from a previous unsuccessful launch and have done more shopping around with manufacturing and fulfillment services to optimize for success. We did more play testing and made adjustments to the contents for a smoother gameplay and lowered our MOQ to reduce our funding goal.
With this legwork behind us, we are confident we can provide a timely completion of this project. We will do whatever it takes to ensure on-time delivery, and are working with top industry and experienced manufacturing and fulfillment companies to make sure everything will run smoothly.
In the event that something does cause a delay, you can expect open and honest communication from us. With that in mind, please don't hesitate to contact us with any concerns, questions, issues or suggestions.
Thank you for your support. Without you, we (literally) could never make Rise of the Exiled a reality.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
