I just read this on Kickstarter...
"...Making a record is expensive. I’ve set the goal here to $13,000 (which is actually the bare minimum cost of just recording and mixing)..."
Well, I'm going to make a record for a little less. I've set the goal here to £13.
On Friday the 13th of this month I'm going to publish a poem online. It'll also be available to read in other formats (see rewards). I'm then going to give these 'lyrics' to a composer who is going to set them to music. We're going record it and then release it the following month. It will be Friday the 13th. Again. And it will be dark. Very dark.
Risks and challenges
There are many risks involved in writing poetry. These include: 1) Prolonged bouts of melancholia. 2) Laudanum addiction. 3) Eventual madness. There is also every possibility that A) I will not finish the poem or B) the poem will be shit. In case A) the poem will be presented as an unfinished work. Case B) will probably result in one or a combination of the following: 1) Prolonged bouts of melancholia. 2) Laudanum addiction 3) Eventual madness.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
