About this project
Opportunity is knocking at my door and with Your Help I can answer it.
First and foremost I would like to take this time to thank you for checking out this project.
My name is James Warren. I am an independent artist from Central MN, as well as a husband, a brother, a son, a friend and a christian with a passion for making music.
Over the last couple years I have been trying to redefine myself as an artist and have grown as a songwriter. The songs on this EP are strongly inspired by the events and transformations that have taken place in my life over the last few years and struggles I have witnessed others battle as well. From being sick and hospitalized only then to find out my house caught fire all the while trying to orchestrate my debut release (which I released as a free download), these events have played a role in how these songs have transpired. Very different from what I've written and recorded in the past, here these songs have more of an Americana element to them or as some have called it "folk pop."
As of recently I was invited by Troy Luccketta (Tesla Drummer) to record my next EP at his studio in Nashville, TN. Troy is on board as the executive producer and Noah Henson, guitarist from Pillar with also be producing these songs.
Performing on these songs will be two of my long time friends Tony Mazzone (drums) and Tony Sylverss (guitar and bass). With the combination of these songs and these inspiring musicians this EP is sure to turn out fantastic. I couldn't be more excited!
I am honored and blessed to have been presented with such an amazing opportunity. I sincerely appreciate every bit of your support and every lit bit counts.

I realize that this is a lot of money and a lot to ask however I believe that an opportunity such as this only knocks on your door once in a life time. With your help, not only can I answer the door but I will also invite you in for the party. I want everyone that is supporting this dream to be a part of the experience. Throughout the journey I will be posting, recording and sharing with all of you along the way.
When You Give, I Give Back. Here's how it works: There are multiple rewards at different donation levels. Take a look on the right hand side of your screen for the list of rewards and decide which level of support you might be willing to provide.

A Million Thank You's
Risks and challenges
Once the project is underway there are most certainly road blocks that can arise. This will in no way deter me from fulfilling this project and delivering your deserved reward.
Time is something they just don't make enough of.
Because I do work a full time job and have a family and am working with other musicians, it can be a task to coordinate everyones schedules. Our time will remain being managed efficiently and effectively to stay on task and deliver the product.
Predicting how much time is allocated to developing each song is definitely a challenge. For the last few months I have been doing a lot of pre-production in developing these songs and will continue to do so prior to going into the studio.
Once the project is completed it is time to fulfill the backer rewards. Doing this on my own is a struggle and luckily I have the help of wonderful friends and family that will help with the packaging and distribution of everyones rewards to ensure that they are delivered in a timely manner.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
