Make a friend immortal!
Today I would like to propose you make a friend immortal!
We are fast approaching the half way point of the campaign and we have more or less half a book. Many wonderful page so far, but we want more to complete the book! According to British anthropologist Robin Dunbar the average human 'really' knows approximately 150 people. So out of your 150 can you think of one or two friends who might delight in the challenge of writing a page for our immortal book? Perhaps a passionate writer, artist, thinker or just someone special, who you might like to share this experience with.
As an added incentive for everyone who either buys a page for a friend or convinces someone else to submit a page, I will add your name to the 'make a friend immortal lottery' and at the end of the project, I will select at random one lucky winner of a 'hardback' copy of the book and an 'Our Story Book' tshirt.
How to enter the 'make a friend immortal lottery'!
STEP 1. Share the project with a couple of friends and persuade them to get a page.
STEP 2. Make sure you ask your friend to tell me your name when they back the project or submit their page.
Ohh and all the people who have already bought a page for their friend (Lorna Leavitt, Chris Lennard and Crystal Phounsoury), congratulations you're automatically in the lottery with a chance of winning.
I will leave you with this inspiring quote from T. E. Lawrence
"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible".
