I want to offer affordable prints of my paintings, which are kinda pricey. But: I need to have physical paper objects to sell and ship!
My current paintings, a series of video game landscapes, are on http://jamesbarnett.net. (Megaton is shown above.) They received an inordinate amount of attention in the last few weeks from media outlets both online and in print, and from dozens of people who emailed and then blanched when I told 'em the prices. I want to offer prints of those paintings and be set up for prints of the next round. I'm not entirely sure what process I'll use (photo vs. 4-color offset, buying vs. talking to a printer); part of the proceeds will go towards ordering sample prints from different sources for comparison's sake.
If you foolishly opt to not get the Party Pak® (see $100, right) and order just a few, let me know which ones you want. Print sizes are approximate; some of the paintings are different shapes, so the medium size might be 12 x 16, say. (There aren't any poster-sized prints listed because I'm worried they'll be either too expensive or suck. I may offer 'em on my site later if I see sample prints that prove my fears unfounded.)
Or, I can paint you up somethin' nice from scratch. I've done other kinds of commissions in the past: http://www.flickr.com/photos/elreyart/sets/72157611913761636/
There'll be a little delay once this project ends while I get everything all set up, order or print prints, and mail 'em out.
