About this project
To create ten beautiful original artworks in the size of 2m x 1.8m; then, using those artworks, produce one of a kind printed images on silk habotai fabric; finally, a collection of Kimono style tops will be designed and sewn by Niko Sol to exhibit as a collaborative effort to fuse original art with sustainable fashion.
The exhibition will be held in Sydney later this year where the two artists will integrate art exhibition with fashion show.
Here is a prototype garment inspired by Jai's SIREN series exhibited in 2011, which you can see in the video.
