Not So Super (Preview)
Daniel Douglas lives in a world where the mild-mannered receive little attention. Each day constantly speeds by and all he sees in his immediate future in an eternal state of bachelorhood and entrapment by the company’s smart phone.
One day his life takes a weird turn when he wakes up with a random assortment of powers. The list of powers grows and Daniel never knows when they appear or disappear. None of the powers are particularly helpful to him and they find ways to inconvenience him at every turn. As a matter of fact, we see his life spiral into sheer chaos as he maneuvers in our unforgiving, modern world as he tries to figure out what made him this way.

Smörgåsbord Squad (Preview)
This comic is a two part story.
Story 1: The beautiful city of Hasenpfeffer, USA, is made a little less beautiful as the feud between the Smörgåsbord Squad and H.U.N.G.E.R. Pack spills into the streets.
Story 2: The origins of the Smörgåsbord Squad are explored as the details of the day the group came together are revealed.
Art & Letters: Kayla Miller
All 3 books were copy edited by Beverly Bambury of Beverly Bambury Publicity.
All money raised will go towards Not So Super #1, This Bites #1 and Smörgåsbord Squad #1's printing costs and to give backers some cool rewards. If this campaign is successful, you'll be helping us make the inaugural issues. We're already working on the full one shot graphic novels; it's a lot of comics to make, and we need a big launch. Our Kickstarter goal is enough to print and get a copy of the first issues in the hands of readers this fall! So if you support creator-owned comics, and want to see our Not So Super Comics become a reality, we have some great rewards for you.
And remember: you're only charged if we make our funding goal.
We've been fortunate to receive some pretty great reviews. Below are a few highlights. Want to see the rest of the reviews? Feel free to read them all here.
…I liked that this was a comic in its truest sense, something that anyone could read and enjoy.
—Dustin Cabeal | comicbastards.com | About Not So Super
Speaking of the book’s tone it’s almost ridiculous, but the best kind of ridiculous. The story moves fast and the characters are completely larger than life, it’s just all silly fun, that again brings back memories of goofy and lively children’s cartoons.
— Matt Johnson | panelsandpixels.com | About This Bites
There is nothing objectionable in here, I think any age could enjoy this book. There is a tiny bit of cartoon violence; some paranormal/ supernatural /extraterrestrial high-weirdness; a hint at bad language (seriously a hint, implied— and nicely done) ... But the artwork and wild plot twists should appeal to youngsters. It is sophisticated and intelligent enough for adults to enjoy as well.

Risks and challenges
The comics are ready for printing. We will be using RA Comics Direct, a company we've used to print a small run of Not So Super and This Bites. We do not anticipate any issues with that vendor.
We are aware shipping costs can mount quickly, so we have ensured that we've factored in all shipping costs.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
